Me and this guy became really good friends and bonded a lot. We had a lot of things in common and a lot of my friends told me he liked me, and so i started to like him. he asked me one day if i liked him and i told him yes because im an honest person. he changed the subject. later on he told me the thinks he likes me but not positive. then he all of a sudden refuses to talk to me. i bought him a gift for his birthday and was really trying to be what we use to be. now every time i talk to him he tells me to go away im annoying.

i know i need to get over him but i cant turn my back on him because i don't know why he resents me so much. i use to know him so well and he knew me. so how do i let go?

Well me and this guy became really close friends this year. We had a lot in common and our personalities were really similar- to bad that means we are both stubborn. So like at first we were kinda forced to talk because we were the only ones who knew each other. Then came my ex best friend and this new girl who use to be called homo. well we all became really close friends and he one day he asked for my number. We ended up texting for hours pretty much every day. at first we had a brother and sister relationship but then it turned really flirty and opened up a lot to me and i fell for him. We became best friends and everyone knew that. he invited me to all his basketball games and we mainly talked about basketball because that is what we both played at the same time. Then i was curious and asked him who he liked and we played a guessing game, in the end he never told me. He then admitted to me later on that he liked me to.

i got really happy, until my best friend admitted she liked him to and she was sorry she was gonna go after him to. i got jealous that he would turn to her and told him not to talk to her, so we both got into a fight and at the end he said im done with you.

so we stopped talking for 2 weeks until he started talking to me first. we then became okay but not even close to the same. he started sitting by me again and class and made some effort to talk to me between classes. I then tried to be like im sorry and did stuff for his birthday and Valentine's day. and he was really happy and i thought we were becoming closer.

then he just completely turned his back on me and refuses to talk to me completely. i tired talking to him a lot and text him and he ignores or continuously repeats "go away you are annoying"

im so confused- if he hated me why would he talk to me first after our fight?
