5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoPaying for Hot Drinking Water in a restaurant ?
Although most places provide free tap water, would you expect to be able order a mug of HOT water and then add your own tea bag and not be charged for it ? This happened where I work yesterday we normally charge 50p for a mug of hot water, is this unreasonable? The customers response to was to say that they would never come in again as we charge for hot water. ( baring in mind that there were two people one had a small coffee (£1.30) and the other other the hot water adding there own tea bag)
Basically just pop your opinions at the bottom, should I now be saving free hot water as well as tap water ?

3 AnswersDesktops1 decade agoHome Car Service... What do I need?
Hi Everyone, I'm about to Service my own car, and want to know if i've missed anything. The car has done almost 15000 miles and is 14 months old, (Vauxhall Corsa)
so I'm replace the spark plugs
Change oil, and oil filter
as well as air filter
also checking all levels of anti freeze ect (actually did that last week)
I have new spark plugs and a spacer to set the gap, as well as a long wrench to remove the plugs
I have the oil filter and a gripper to remove it,(haven't bought the oil yet )
I also have the air filter,
As well as this I have a jack and two front wheel mounts to raise the car, ( as well as two bricks to stop it rolling back.)
so the crux of the matter is am I missing anything that I should be done? or is there anything that I should have that I don't?
8 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoVolkswagen Fox or Polo?
Ok well im getting a new small car a lot of people have suggested the Volkswagen Polo.
The New Polo comes out in October, but what I really want to know is what people think of the Fox compared to Polo? It would be a full spec Urban Fox or the base model of the Polo.
what would you choose? Or would it be something compleatly different, remembering that it needs to be a small car and NEW, (there are reasons that are far too long to go in to on here.)
4 AnswersVolkswagen1 decade agoChoosing a Small Car.?
I'd just like to know what people think the best small car out at the moment is? (Defining small car as 3 Door Hatch Back, or similar) wanting a car ranging from new to 3 years old, Prices are not really an object, but keeping engine smaller than 1.2.
just looking for value for money and how reliable they are.
