  • AQHA Working Hunters/Jumpers?

I am fairly new to the AQHA show world, and I am curious about the fences Heights. I read the judges score cards for Working Hunter, Equ over fences and Jumpers, then showed at the regional exp last year and found the fences to be set much lower than the card indicated that they would. My question is this... Is it common for the fences to be set low at AQHA shows, or was this only the case for the regional experience so that it would be beginner friendly? Thanks!

  • 98 Eclipse non turbo dies.... Why?

5 speed car, 4 cyl. The car very often starts then idles down and dies right away. If I hold the gas, the car will run, but often dies after I let off. Can idle down an die, or just shut off, and the temperature outside has very little to do with it. If I rev it high, then it will generally run fine for a while, but when I press in the clutch to stop it will often die again. Any ideas? No check engine light, coolant temp. sensor was just replaced and the throttle body was cleaned.

  • What is best arena dust control product?

I have an indoor arena with a sand, Airfoot mix for the footing. (Airfoot is shredded shoes so it has fiber and a small amount of rubber) I wind up watering it every day, and I am hoping to hear about any products that you guys have had luck with that will cut down the watering. I need something effective, safe to be in contact with and cost effective. Thanks!

  • Yellowing hooves on my paint horse?

My 5 yr old paint mare has seemed to turn a yellowed color around her nose, eyes and most notably her hooves. She has been stiff and sore also. I discussed it with my farrier, and he wasn't concerned, but did say that her soles are bruised (soles not discolored much). Vet also was not concerned, but I wondered if anyone has seen this before. By the way, her hooves are striped, and she is mostly a white horse with just a few spots.
