I took my phone in the pool in a waterproof case. A little bit of water got in there but I immediately wiped it off and left it out of the case. I just picked up my phone and tried to play music. Nothing worked and when I tried changing the volume it told me it was on headphone mode. Stuck my headphones in and the music played. Took them out, nothing. Still said it was on headphone mode. I had a friend call me and I could hear the ringtone. I turned speaker on/off and plugged the headphones in/out and it didn t fix it. Is this a hardware issue or no?

My cousin s 3rd grade class was raising anoles and had an extra one to give away so I took it. I got her today and notice one of her eyes is a little bulgy. My aunt said it could be the crickets attacking her or even self infliction. It s not swollen shut or anything similar, just bigger compared to the other eye. Aunt said to buy some turtle eye drops to fix the problem.

Additionally, her mouth is a little funny. I haven t seen her super up close but it looks like her mouth doesn t close properly - like her top and bottom "lip" don t match up evenly. Have no idea what that could be either.

Any ideas?

I woke up today with the most painful pimple on my arm. I didn't see it yesterday and it was, quite literally, the biggest whitehead I've ever seen.

I have a bad habit of picking any acne I see so I picked it. It shot out a yellowy-white color and then bled for a few moments. I've had other acne bleed before and this seemed like a lot.

It's been about an hour or two and it feels rock hard. My arm is swollen and it hurts to even lightly rub over it. It's also pretty red.

Around the time I popped the first one, I noticed a much smaller one a few inches beneath. I popped that one too. (Bad habit.) it didn't bleed and came out how most whiteheads do. It hurts as well and is still hard but isn't as bad.

I started using a new (cheap) body wash a few days ago and that was the only thing I could think of that might be causing this... Any opinions?

I've been a vegetarian for about 8 months now. I've had meat cravings very rarely -- probably under five times.

Lately, I've been having some health issues. Low energy, constant sleepiness, near constant stomachache, etc. I've also had really intense cravings.

The cravings will sometimes be for meat but mostly it's for chocolate. I indulged myself last night and bought a ton of chocolate. It satiated my cravings temporarily but now they're back up again for anything meaty or meat flavored.

Are the cravings and the health issues related to me being vegetarian, and is it a wise idea for me to give it a break for a little bit until my health is better?

I recently identified as polyamorous. I am in a monogamous relationship and have brought the idea up to my partner, but they didn't go along with it. I respect that, and have no intentions of being with another person. Any tips on how to deal with this though? I find myself constantly thinking of other people, and having polyamorous thoughts.

I go to an online school and at the beginning of the year, the school shipped me an HP laptop. It looks fairly new, in great shape, and the first thing that popped up when we opened it was Windows installing.

It'll get to the "setup is starting services" screen, or tell you you need to restart and Windows will install, and an error pops up that says "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation."

We didn't get a disc for Windows along with the computer, and the booklet we got doesn't cover anything about the error I'm getting. I was wondering if anyone had an idea about what to do before I call support.

I'm writing a book and my book is focused on a unstable teenage girl. One of the paragraphs talks about how she's not allowed to have long nails because she clawed one of her therapists sometimes. I was wondering how badly that can affect someone?

I'm basically wondering that if a human clawed another human, what damage could it do? Could it get infected, could they need stitches, anything worse? Thanks~

I'm thinking of going to a Supernatural convention in Dallas, TX in late september of this year. I'm fourteen now, will almost be 15 by then. It's a five day trip, and I know of no one in Dallas that I could stay with or even anyone in texas. I was wondering if it's illegal to rent a hotel room under 18? Or if there's ways around it, like having my parent reserve the hotel room for me? Someone help? Thanks!

I have a Mac, and I've been downloading videos from YouTube to mess around with on my computer (with the owner's permission, of course) and back when I had a Windows, Keepvid always worked seamlessly. I've only downloaded two videos onto my mac, and now it's not working anymore? I've tried adjusting my system preferences and testing my Java applet, and NOTHING. It sends me to a blank redirect page and that's it.

Does anyone have any suggestions or answers? Thanks!

So, I have no idea what to do here. It's part of my homework and due tomorrow. I'm in Algebra 1, linear equations. Please help, at least clarify what to do!

a. Write an equation in slope-intercept form relating the basic fee and per-hour charge.

b. Graph your equation.

c. Use your graph to find the production costs if 4 hours of filming were needed.

I'm an online student, and one of my problem sets is about linear equations. i understand how to write and do them for the most part, except i'm foggy on what to do for this question.

Write an equation of a line with the given slope and y-intercept.

And then, it gives me three I have to do it for.

m = x 9/5, (the x and 9/5 was in a box if that matters) b = –7

m = –6, b = 1

and the last one: m = 3/7 (the 3/7 was in a box as well) b = –1

Could anyone help clarify what i need to do here? And do the boxes around the numbers matter?

I've been looking into staring up a beauty guru youtube channel, and I need a camcorder. I was looking for something inexpensive, under $200-250. I need it to be HD, have a focus and zoom, and be pretty easy to figure. I don't know if it makes a difference, but it's just going on youtube really. So it doesn't need to be fancy, just something for beginners. Thanks!

I'm looking into buying a camcorder, and starting up a youtube channel. I need a good editing software, obviously. It needs to be able to trim clips, insert photos and music, and insert text. Kinda basic things. BUT, it needs to work on a mac. I've seen a bunch of good editors, and they're all for windows. I don't care about the price really, if it's under $20. Don't wanna spend a bunch of money on something i may only use for a while. I've been looking into iMovie somewhat - does anyone know how well that works?

I get my hair cut in April, and it's hardly grown out. Not more than two inches. Does anybody know any ways to quickly grow out hair? Like by January? Thanks!
