  • Easy way to dry up a soaked yard?

We live in Arkansas where the weather is completely crazy! Our yard was iced over for two days, then it rained for 24 hours straight. We have three big dogs that play in a pen out back. The entire entrance to their pen is water! I have to wade to feed them. I tried bridging the muddy mess with bits of ply wood, but my bridge sunk!

Does anyone else out there have a supersaturated yard? What can I do to fill in this lake I call my yard?

  • Anyone who has bought Equate 2-pack pregnancy tests: Was one defective?

Every equate 2-pack tests I've ever used, one test was defective. I was curious to see if anyone else has had this issue. I thought I was saving money and getting more for my buck, I really want to conceive. I test anytime I'm late since I lost my first baby without ever realizing I was pregnant until it was too late.

So, is it a conspiracy? Do they place an ineffective one in there just to throw people off?

  • Do I need a business license to start a small business in Arkansas?

I make clothing and children's items. Recently I set up a facebook page for my products, but one day I'd like to have a small shop. Do I need any licenses for that? The business lady at my college says no, but I want to be sure.

  • Ability to eat for children with cerebral palsy?

The child i take care of and love like my own is now tube fed. He loved to eat before. I started feeding him baby foods at a year and a half then we slowly moved up to more solid foods like breads and pastas. He is four now and last year after his swallow study, the doctors deemed it to dangerous for him to eat or drink anything by mouth. He now has a G-tube. The tube works great but he is always wanting food like ice cream and whatever he sees other people eating. How can I help build up his control enough for him to be able to eat normally again, or just give him a drink of water? The problem lies with controlling the muscles in his throat. Everytime he fails a swallow study, it's crushing for both of us. I want it so bad for him, not to mention he sometimes gets infections around his tube. What can i do to help him?
