  • how can i get my spouse to realize he is bipolar and accept treatment?

No, I'm not a Doctor, and Yes, I am internet diagnosing him. We've been married over 13 years, and the first 9yrs were good. The last 4 have been progressively worse. I won't go into details but we've talked about getting him a physical (with blood work to check for any hormone imbalances), but he won't ...and he also refuses marriage counseling. I don't know what to do, any way I've tried to discuss our marriage or his attitude has him lashing out at me. I'm tired of the hate stares and being talked down to. Our child walks on eggshells never knowing what mood his dad is in. I don't want out, I just want the man I married back.

btw, he has always had a job and absolutely no drug use. occasional beer or wine. I don't consider that a factor in his behavior.

  • If I work in a school but live in a different state, can my child go to school there?

I live less than a mile from the state line, so I am looking for a job in either state. I know if I was only out of district my child could go to the school I am employed at, but is it the same if I live in a different state? Live MO / work KS

I would rather bring him with me than try to arrange child care for before/after school. Any ideas? I don't want to have to ask in an interview.

  • Should I take my son to South Africa?

My sister moved to Pretoria and wants us to visit in March. My son is 4yrs old and he will be fine sleeping/playing on the flight. I would like to know if he needs all vaccines or if there is any medical concerns for him? We will not be in a malaria zone. I'd really love to see South Africa and will never have this opportunity again, I just don't know if it's safe for him. Thanks!

  • South Africa, do toys cost more there than in the US?

My nephews are moving to Johannesburg South Africa in January. For Christmas, my sister suggested giving her money to buy balls, bikes, scooters etc. once they get there. They cannot take their toys as they are not shipping anything.

Do toys cost the same as in the US or a lot more?

  • Good location to throw my mom a birthday party in Kansas City?

In the greater Kansas City area, I'm looking for a nice place to have a surprise party for my mom. We looked into the steamboat arabia, but it was too expensive at $1,500 min.

I'm looking for either a restaurant with a private room OR a unique location/attraction that we could cater. Greater Kansas City area including Overland Park, Olathe... etc.

    Thanks!
