Can we believe MIT research scientist Dr. Josef Oehmen? Is he a qualified nuclear expert?
I have seen a lot of links to articles on blogs that are getting information about the Fukushima reactors and safety risk from this Dr. Josef Oehmen from MIT so I checked his credentials.
He is a Corporate Risk Management expert. Dr. Josef Oehmen from MIT has no academic background in nuclear energy or nuclear safety. Dr. Josef Oehmen has lots of experience advising corporations on how to minimize their financial losses.
(Please click through to his publications list from MIT: http://web.mit.edu/oehmen/www/)
According to one blogger, Dr. Josef Oehmen's FATHER was a nuclear expert. My father was a judge. This does not qualify me to be an expert on law.
Can someone explain why bloggers and people on this forum believe that Oehman is a qualified expert in nuclear power? Can anyone post a link to: a paper he has written about nuclear power? An nuclear safety advisory position with a government or NGO? Membership in an association for nuclear or environmental safety professionals?
