  • Mother of my twins keep denying overnight vistation? How long can she do this?

Ok I took baby mama to court for child support and vistation for our two twin daughters. They were born may of last year and now they are 9 months old and the next court date is April. They will be 11 months. I'm not forcing overnight since they are young but they not breastfeeding and the growing really strong. I see them once a week on a weekend. Inwould really like two get overnight soon because she is very controlling and I need to properly bond with my daughters. Oh and my visitation takes place at a public mall, she doesn't allow it at her home.

  • Will I be able to celebrate the holidays with my daughters since mother doesn't due to her religious beliefs?

Maybe someone on this site has been though a custody battle and was or in the same situation I'm in now. I have two daughters and mother who is the custodial parent doesn't celebrate the holidays. Will the court grant me not all the holidays but just the important kiddy ones that kids enjoy. I think that's fair and in the best interest of the child.

  • Ex girlfriend husband work schedule effects my vistation with daughters? What?

I have two babies with my ex and because her husband works my visitation revolves around his schedule. I ask to see during the week but she declined. It doesn't make sense because she doesn't work and she has all the time in the world. She claims the babies are to much for her alone. We are in custody court now, what you guys think the judge gonna say about her excuses (her husband schedule and it being to much for her to bring the babies to let me see them is too much

  • Child visitation denied because of mother's husband work schedule. Is this allowed?

So I had an affair with a married woman and she ran back to her husband and wants the husband to be the father. I took her to court established paternity and I'm the legal father and paying child support. Last week we had our first court date for costody and vistation. She didn't show up an made an excuse (she confused the dates). I asked her if I could see my daughters during the week and she said no because her husband works. She say it to much work to handle the babies by herself (twin's). She doesn't work and I have time during the week to see them. Can they do this? I find it rediculious and I hope the judge can fix this.

  • What do you think about this scenario? Do you think this i fair? Could this have been done better?

A person has gotten arrested for a crime. A non violent crime and a first offence. Due to the crime this person has to go to court and in the process lost their job because of the crime. The person now is doing temp jobs, trying to keep straight and just trying to survive. While doing this the person enrolls in counselling trying to better himself trying to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the judge, protector, and community. He get a letter from the counselling center and handed it to the prosecutor in hope of a favorable deal he can live with. It falls on deaf ears. Now the fact that this persons life could be ruined with the charge that will be served the person now asks fellow friends, employees, ex co workers for help with character reference letters in hopes of mitigation or a light sentence so he can at least get a job.( due to pending charges the person cant get a job, also this person is a good guy, good heart and just made a foolish mistake). This person looks for more ways that can help his cause and he finds a counselling center that can help his cause and can get a letter saying that he is not a risk to society. Next court date is coming up and its his sentencing date and he gives in his character reference, the judge still give him the full charge and now his life is in ruins. do you think this is fair? i dont. In my opinion this person deserves a second chance, not to drop or dismiss the charge but a least a charge he can live with.

  • Do you think judges and procecutors take into consideration a defendant rehabilitating himself by means of therapy and or consulting?

Say if the defendent did something foolish and got him a criminal charge pending. Its his first offence and he decided to go on his own to therapy. What do you think will be the out come of the case when the judge and prosecutor learn of this.

  • If you know your guilty of a crime and there is evidence. Is it worth going to court trial?

I heard that if u go to trial and they can prove that u commited the crime you will be convicted much worse then the original charge because the fact that you knew you where guilty in the first place. Penalties like court cost etc...

  • Is it worth going to trial?

Got a class b misdemeanor and right now its in the discovery phase. I contacted my lawyer to see if he can produce a plea bargain before the next court date and he said he"ll get on it

i feel like they will find evidence of what i did anyway cuz they had cameras around. So instead of wasting time with court and a trial i figure ill just do a plea bargain save time and money. I heard if it goes to trial things get worse such as a dragged out process, cost and the penalties of going to trial and being guilty. What you guys think?
