2 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoAm I the only one who thinks Tony Kornheiser is an arrogant idiot?
This guy NEVER has anything positive to say. He is always downgrading players (as if he is some kind of athlete), and he NEVER SHUTS UP!!!! I wish ESPN and the other networks would get rid of this guy. At first he was just a little annoying, but now he's gotten to where he thinks he is all-knowing and that everyone actually cares what he has to say, which we don't. This guy is such a douche, agreed?
13 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoDid anyone else see the Monday Night NFL game where they said that Dallas would be in the playoffs?
If the playoffs started today, ATLANTA, NOT DALLAS, would be in the playoffs. ESPN and FOX showed the playoff picture if it were to start today, and Dallas was on the outside looking in. ATL and DAL have the same record, but ATL would get in b/c of schedule strength. I'm not saying that ATL will make the playoffs, but I think that's just a dumb media move by the sports network (NBC) to showcase Dallas (as if they needed more attention). It's not a big deal, but I just don't understand why this network would say Dallas is in when ATL would be in, not the Cowboys. Is it that bad to show that 3 NFCSouth teams would be in, and only one NFCEast team would make it? Does it hurt the media's feelings that bad to have missed the projections that much that Dallas wouldn't even be in the playoffs right now? I know "everybody likes the Cowboys", but the media needs to get over teh love affair of these "America's Teams" (Cowboys, Yankees, Lakers, etc.), because their fans consist of true hardcore fans, uninformed sports fans that only root for popular teams, and media favorites because of the drama. ENOUGH WITH THE LOVE AFFAIR WITH THE COWBOYS!!!! According to the media, they should be undefeated, win every Super Bowl, fix the economy, and find the cure for cancer! Anyone else feel this way?
4 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoAnyone notice that Paul Pierce whines about EVERY CALL, even if it's the correct call and HE KNOWS ITl???
There is so much evidence, just look at ANY game the Celtics played over the past few years. THis guy could be such a top-notch, well-respected player, but he whines so much. It even rubs off on his teammates. Perkins and House do it all of the time, also. It pains me to see such a good player act like such a whiny brat.
6 AnswersBasketball1 decade agoDoes anyon know where to get a front lip for a 2006 Ford Fusion?
Do they make more than one kind? The only one I've seen is the Duratec racing type. Are there any other kinds? Are generic front lips being made for various cars that could fit the Fusion? Please, HELP!!! I need it more for protecting my car rather than appearance. I used to drive an Explorer and I'm trying to get used to driving a car, so I'd like to get as much protection for the body of the car as possible.
2 AnswersFord1 decade agoIs there anywhere that you can find player contracts for each team for the upcoming NHL season?
I'd like to know what players are under contract and how long their contracts are. I'm a Thrashers fan, but any information would help. Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersHockey1 decade agoAm I the only one who'se tired of the Braves losing like this?
So, with another meltdown tonight (not by their bats this time, but by their defense, base-running, and bullpen), am I the only person who's sick of seing this happen every night. For the past 2 1/2 years, the Braves have been mediocre. The talent is there , they have so many good players, but they seem to give away so many games it's becoming easy for me to accept it. It's not Cox's fault that players drop balls, make dumb baserunning mistakes, and walk way too many people. But, does anyone else think he may need to drop the "we caught a couple of bad breaks" attitude and light a fire under these players? Should he chew a few of them out, or maybe actually give some advice as to how he'd like them to approach the pitches when they're at the plate? I just don't understand why he doesn't "coach" them anymore. They all respect him and if he went crazy a time or to on them instead of the umps, it may just work. By losing by one run so often, it usually means its mental, right?
