How come people don't use common sense on failing restaurants, when they try to be successful for serving bad food on depressing-looking premises?

Why are there Restaurants who have bad food, service and pricing?

As a customer I'm supposed to have a great experience.

I've watched this show a few times, it now is a big yawner because almost all stories are the same, canned food, no salt/seasonings, frozen foods, etc .

But I wonder where do all the people come from when they reopen the Restaurant? Are they offered a free meal or a special discount for assisting?

Is the happy ending "real" or is it all staged?

I lrespectfully look at people who wear tattoos and wonder why would anyone want to mark their own body for a lifetime, with a graphic or name, go under pain, for something as unnecessary as a tattoo?
