My boyfriend and I have been living together for the majority of our relationship. Sometimes I feel like this means he neglects to give me some of the attention that I deserve. He is always there for me and I have no worries trusting him... but, when I come home from working all day, and I'm excited to come home and see him, he will stay on the computer playing video games for the next hour or two (when he's already been playing most of the day). I'll start cleaning or making dinner (per his request, on occasion). For our first Christmas together, he got me many gifts. For our first valentines day together, he had some flowers for me... that he had his parents buy for me while they were in town for the day. My birthday gift was sex. He told me this summer we would go on a trip to a water park, he'd pay all the way... but is now saying it will maybe wait until next summer. He's made various other promises, big and small, that seem to be broken. I know he has a good heart and he means no harm, but I really don't know how to address the issue. I'd really like to talk with him about it, but I don't want to feel foolish and needy and regret having the conversation, either. What should I do?
