  • Should I still try to go after her?

So there's this girl right? We've known each other since the first grade, and a few weeks ago, I asked her to go with me to this ball. She said yes, but during the ball, it felt very awkward because we weren't talking to each other well. I would bring up something, but she could never continue it, and I knew it wasn't me because I also asked questions about herself, and we couldn't even keep that going. This is weird to me because we have lots in common. Another thing you should probably know is that this only happens between us. When I talk to my other friends who are girls we can talk for hours D: This girl is very special to me because at my school girls like her don't just come and go.

    So my questions are:

    1. Should I keep going for her?

    2. Is it really not my fault? (Am I the one who can't keep conversation)

    3. Anything I can do to help this?

  • Can I get into UofM Ann-Arbor?

Hi, I'm a in-state Junior in high school right now, failed with a 2.9 in Freshman year, 3.1 in Sophomore year, but running a full 4.0 now as a Junior.

I go to an IB school, thus the work is very rigorous and now I just hope I'm not too late in a shot to get into UofM.

I have been playing piano for a total of 11 years, and have won many (20+) trophies including a Champion for the North American Invitational Championships last year.

I swam for the Oakland Live Y'ers for two years, and participated in the Ski and Snowboard Club.

I played in the Jazz Band after school as well as the Full Orchestra after school for two years (both earned me an extra .5 credits each), and attend Symphony Orchestra during school as well.

As for ACT and SAT, I haven't take those yet (due this spring) this is what I'm hoping to use to cover for my (bad) GPA.

I want to know what my chances are if I continue my 4.0 streak through senior year and if I score high on my ACT and SATs, also all my EC I mentioned I am still doing.
