Are some people born truly gifted and others truly limited or do we all have potential for great intellectual leaps? I feel smart sometimes but then I think about those great minds that have advanced our species, I feel so small. I feel if it were up to me, we'd never get past the wheel. But, I hope it is possible to accomplish more, it might just take greater discipline-or should I accept my limitations and give up now?

I had a real hard time answering this for myself. hope that doesn't mean I'm all vacuous. I've been disturbed by an identity crisis and was curious how many people know exactly what they are-other than stuff like human, or a boy, or married...like the core stuff. I was thinking about this after checking out some internet vids on Break-some vids from Iraq of soldiers messing aorund and trying to make a bad situation ok(pranking eachother). And the comments were all hateful from Europeans and Canadians and I thought "wow, and we're supposed to be the less intelligent ones when these Canadians are all "America brought 911 on itself." Well, what about Spain, they brought it on theirselves too? Man, before I saw my fellow Americans falling out of skyscrapers and getting beheaded, I wasn't all ignorant and hateful against islam. I thought Europeans were supposed to be smarter and better than the anti American crap they puke out...who's really the white trash of the global community. I don't see videos of other people from other countries and immediately think "wow, i hate those hairy armpit euro's." what gives? America reacted like any other country that was attacked...well, we didn't run away like the French but I'm just saying...
