What is that delightful nasal assaulting aroma in the male bathroom of Ruth's near the Power Plant in Baltimore? If the space was large enough for a couch could have eaten my steak in there.

4 AnswersNotices and Errors1 decade agoTesting golf balls using a swing machine?
Is there any recent study as to what particular ball/balls would be used most effectively when hit with a precise SPEED of swing, ie ball A consistantly goes X distance when hit at 97mph, or ball B goes X distance when hit at 88mph?
I'm looking for a mythbusters type test.
7 AnswersGolf1 decade agoNike PD Long balls 72 compression confusion?
Nike's website claims that the Precision PD Long balls are "optimized for players w/ higher swing speeds" but are a 72 compression ball (seems to be very low). I've been taught that a player with an average swing speed of roughly 85-95ish should use a lower compression ball at around 90. 72 seems excessively low when being "optimized" for the big hitters.
Nike ONE Vapor balls "provide the perfect balance of distance and control for amateur golfers with average swing speeds" and has a compression of 70. Very near that of the "high velocity" PD Long.
Does Nike merely push their ONE Vapor balls (more expensive) knowing that most golfers are in that range of "average"?
It just so happens that the Vapor balls are $20 dz more and for this very reason I use the PD Long balls. Should I cough up the extra twenty and buy the ONE Vapor's or save it for my Sam Adams Cherry Wheat addiction?
Sorry if I'm rambling, it's 0345 hrs.
4 AnswersGolf1 decade agowhy do frozen greens bounce like concrete?
I finally had the opportunity to play this past week. I managed to get beat up pretty badly by the frozen tundra. I couldn't get the ball to stick at all. I tried every wedge I have and couldn't overcome the severe bounce. Aside from bump and runnin what are some good "greens in regulation" making strategies when playing a course with forzen greens.
Any idea on ways of getting a tee in the ground?

Does Maryland have any new gun laws? Is it still a no go for CCW? Are there any new laws that affect what was current over the last year. Please don't mention the Castle Doctrine...I'm good in that area.

6 AnswersFast Food1 decade agowhy do my answers get more sarcastic the longer I'm on?
I've taken notice of my answers becoming sarcastic the longer I stay up answering questions. Let me be specific in stating that I am in a position to do little other than screw off answering these sometimes ridiculous questions so one could believe that it's simply my asshole-ish personality or maybe even a general lack of concern for other's feelings.
What is your take? Please be critical as I'm defiantly in need of your wealth of psychotherapeutic ramblings. Thanks in advance for your timely and very well articulated responses. May your god be with you.
6 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoFL concealed firearm license?
I'm an active duty soldier stationed in Maryland but have a home of record of Florida(meaning if Florida had state taxes I would be paying them). I've had a CFL(or other weapon) for nearly 2-3 years now and never put much thought into the laws behind it. Am I "by location" considered a non-resident OR because of my Florida "home of record" and active duty status considered a FL resident?
I'm questioning this due to the whole reciprocity provisions prescribed by FL law.<<<If I'm a FL resident I can legally carry in all of the states listed in their reciprocity states.

1 AnswerElections1 decade agocalifornia child support after stepparent adoption?
I'm curious about the end result of a stepparent adoption finalization (from the biological father's perspective). What, if any rights and responsibilities does he have i.e; visitation, support emotional/financial etc. Biological father has been paying child support consistently for 5 years, however, has never seen the child. The child, mother and stepfather all live in CA while the "other" father has been overseas for the majority of child's life and is now on the eastern U.S coast. There is no plan for visitation and the idea of the stepparent adoption is in the best interest of the child in all three opinions of the adult parties.
2 AnswersFamily1 decade agoWear of German Schutzenschnur on Army ASU?
Tired of all the damn uniform changes. What's the scoop on the German Schutzenschnur (marksmanship badge) being worn on the ASU (Army Service Uniform). I purchased the jacket today and the damn thing doesn't seem to have room for the German badge. I have yet to find any "official" literature on the ASU either. My guess is that it's essentially an even swap-over?!.
