What is a stack contract?
A friend is looking for employment, potentially as a contractor, and the term stack contract came up in his reading about the different types of contracting. Stack contracts came up as one of the advantages to being an independent contractor with a corp to corp arrangement.
I hope this makes sense to someone. He wants to understand what it means to stack contract(s).
2 AnswersCorporations6 months agoComputer programming sentence on résumé ?
I'm helping a friend in Poland with his résumé, but do not have a background in computer programming. He would like to add the following sentence to his résumé and is asking if it makes sense in English. Again, it's not my background, so I would like to ask anyone with a programming background if the following sentence makes sense and is written correctly:
Software integration and data integration expert who builds and provides solutions successfully embedded in customer systems and processes.
Thank you!

4 AnswersMathematics2 years agoHow to do video calls using a separate monitor?
I use 2-way video every day for work (via Skype and other platforms) and my eyes are getting worse, so I got a separate, bigger monitor so I can read things more clearly, but am not sure if this is going to work because I have to use the camera embedded in my laptop for the 2-way video calls and, if I'm actually looking at the separate monitor at the person or the thing I'm reading, I won't be making eye contact with the person I'm speaking with.
I hope I explained this clearly. Can anyone let me know how I can make this work?
Thank you!

I hope I've explained this clearly. I called Dell and they wanted to do a remote for $70-130. Can someone please help? Thank you!!

10 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoHelp! My parrot won't learn any new words.?
She's an umbrella cockatoo. She's 12 years old and we've had her 7 years. Since we got her, she has not learned any new words. We talk and sing to her all the time. We don't have TV reception, so we can't leave that on for her to listen to (also, I've wondered if, perhaps, this creates noise pollution for some birds, when they would prefer a quiet house and peace to nap on and off all day). Do those talking devices for birds work? Any other suggestions? I'm really wondering if this is part of her nature, to not learn new words, or if we're not doing everything we can to help her. I have been trying to teach her the same words and phrases for 7 years, but to no avail. She just looks at me and answers with an "old" word. LOL
Any great suggestions would be much appreciated! :-)
3 AnswersBirds1 decade agoWhy was my answer deleted and why doesn't the appeal link work?
The question I answered was "What country are you in?" and my answer was "USofA", which means the United States of America.
Is this offensive to anyone?
I feel there's no violation here, but I cannot appeal, as the link in the email regarding the violation doesn't work.
Thank you!
