My girlfriend recently went to the doctor and was treated for bacterial vaginosis and a uti. I know that neither of these are considered STD's but all the info I could find on bacterial vaginosis points to either multiple sexual partners or a new sexual partner. Add that to the uti and I'm sweating a bit here. I know that uti are also sometimes a by product of sex. We hadn't been intimate for approximately 2 months before she noticed these issues. I have read up on both these issues but I'm looking for a "real world" explanation of this situation.

What do "asercaba" and "boltiabas" mean? Apparently some words are misspelled so google translate isn't translating.

I found a box of pregnancy tests at home that I don't remember my girlfriend purchasing hidden in the zipper compartment of an unused purse at the top of the closet. I'm not sure how or when they got there and it is completely possible that they have been there since our last move. However, they have an expiration date of 9/12 on them. I haven't found any definitive answers on the internet regarding how long the tests are good for from manufacture to expiration date. I've heard 2 years but I'm not certain. Does anyone know for certain the length of time between manufacture and expiration? The HPT are FirstResponse Early Pregnancy Tests. I've tried to contact the manufacture with batch number etc. but have yet to receive any information regarding my question. Any help is very much appreciated.
