I can't find it anywhere but the person said, (insert name) deserves a star on the walk of ( not fame) in Baltimore (idk) ???

1 AnswerChemistry5 years agoIs is dangerous to have a fever when you're already sick?
So basically this person has many diseases.
Hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, arthritis, lupus and has a fever of 102.2. This is the second day. She is absolutely stubborn and won't go to the hospital or call the doctor.
She thinks she will get better because a few months ago she got a cold and it went away in a week or so. But that was a cold and I don't know what to do or tell her.
2 AnswersRespiratory Diseases5 years agoFind the area of the region. How do you find alpha and beta (end points)?
I don't know if the points I'm choosing 1. (O, pi) 2. (-pi/2, pi/2) are correct. I'm kind of just guessing which is why I'm struggling to continue. How can you determine the points for a petal or interior etc.

2 AnswersMathematics5 years agoPhysics: find the magnitude and direction of vector product A × B? Check answer.?
ABsin (phi)
Vector A Is 3.6 m at 70° North east
Vector B is 2.4 m at -30° South west or 210°
So I put
(3.6)(2.4) sin (-30°)=4.32m^2k but the right answer is 5.5m^2k
1 AnswerPhysics6 years agoPhysics problem. Please help? Value of gold.?
In wagners opera Das Rheingold, the goddess Freia is ransomed for a pile of gold just tall enough and wide enough to hide her from sight. Estimate the monetary value of this pile. The density of this pile is 19.3g/cm^3 and it's value is about $10 per gram (although this varies).
So the back of the book says the answer is approximately $70 million
I don't know how they got that or how we're supposed to know how tall or wide she is.
Thanks in advance!
3 AnswersPhysics6 years agoAdd the following vectors graphically.?
37 m south
55 m east
45 m south
20 m west
15 m south
So what I basically did was put them on a coordinate graph going straight down then horizontal then down... etc but they are added to each other
But Im sure I did it wrong because I'm supposed to add them using component vectors. Please help me.
1 AnswerPhysics6 years agoHow quickly could the venom of a black widow spider kill a bird?
I found this bird and I think he got bit. He was alive for 3 hours before I put him in a crate hanging from a tree. I'm not sure how he's doing now since it's 12am and 6 hours later. All he does is sleep but he can't fly. He was hopping around the backyard and could only fly at a low altitude. He was filled with spider webs and kept moving his beak as if he were trying to speak. Do you think he might have gotten bit or is just stunned?
1 AnswerZoology6 years agoFound an adult bird that can't fly.?
So I was playing with my dogs and all of a sudden a bird hopped right in front of us and I picked it up before they were able to harm it. It was able to hop, spread it's wings, semi fly and hold on to the wall. I don't know what is wrong with it but I left it alone in the back yard the whole afternoon and all it did was sleep.
I decided to place it in an open dog crate hung front a tree (for safety) where it can fly away if it wants to. He doesn't look injured but I don't know if he's in pain. He did have along of spider webs on him and he kept moving his beak as if he were trying to speak. Does anyone know what may be wrong with him? He let's me grab him too.
I'm going to check on him in the morning and see if he's still alive.
1 AnswerBirds6 years agoHow do I solve this integral?
Integral (1-sin^2x/cos^2x) dx [0, pi/4]
This is my work so far and I feel like I'm over complicating it and I'm doing something wrong.
The answer is pi/4
4 AnswersMathematics6 years agoIntegral from 0 to 5 [f (x)+2] dx ? Calculus 1.?
Consider the fen f that ia continuousted on [-5,5] and for which Integral from 0 to 5[f (x)] dx =4
I got 14 but by chance I still don't know why. I thought I had to subtract F (5)-F (0). I'll show what I did. What about the zero? Or am I completely in the wrong?
1 AnswerMathematics6 years agoIs this right? Calculus 1.?
My book only gives an example for finding f (x).
I think it's wrong and I'm thinking I have to use the chain rule.
I have a test Thursday and Im freaking out because we rushed this whole chapter. So I thank anyone who helps out.

4 AnswersMathematics6 years agoCan I get paid for taking care of terminally ill parent?
So I'm 20 and my mom is terminally ill. I take care of her and go to school but I really cannot get a job because I'm the one who has a more flexible schedule to take care of her needs. So I don't know how to go about it. She has emergency Medicare only and they told her to apply for disability but hasn't yet. I know there are programs for adult children taking care of their elderly parents but I haven't seen any for terminally ill parents. She's 46 so she's not old enough.
3 AnswersOther - Health6 years agoA brain transplant question? (Anencephaly)?
Is it hypothetically possible for a baby with Anencephaly to have a brain transplanted onto them? I understand they have a brain stem so would they be able to connect a full brain onto them?
Wouldn't it be easier because they don't have a brain so they wouldn't have to remove anything but just add?
I know a high percentage of them die right after they are born but some live for weeks, months and even a few years.
I'm curious and if you have any info on the matter that you can link I'd be grateful. I tried googling it but they only mention that babies with Anencephaly can be useful for being organ donors and I'm asking the opposite. Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersOther - Diseases6 years agoLimit sinx/x as x---> 0 Table provided.?
x | -0.1| -0.01 | -0.001| 0 | 0.001| 0.01| 0.1
f (x)|
I don't get how I'm supposed to estimate/find 0.
I tried plugging in for x and the answers my calculator gives me are different than the actual answers.
The actual answers are close to 1 and mine are around .01745...
I'm 100% sure I'm calculating it wrong, can you tell me how I'm supposed to calculate them? Thanks in advance
2 AnswersMathematics6 years agoTest for symmetry with respect to each axis and to the origin.?

That's what I got.
Sorry if it's too simple. I just never took precalculus and it's a review question for calculus.
