  • How am I supposed to use Recovery console if I cant get into windows. Or boot from disk if there is an error?

    So I cant load windows xp home edition because it says there is a registry file failure and it can load the Hive (file)

    So I found out that I need to run the Recovery Console tool and the only way I have been able to see how to do that is by getting into windows is to do that. I cant get into windows the normal way or by going into bios and loading from windows cd. It says cannot boot because it doesn't recognize the disk. I even changed the cd drive. Any help would be much appreciated
