  • How to give up a US Green Card?

Does anyone know how a US Green Card holder can voluntarily give up their Green Card before it expires? In this particular instance, the Green Card holder left the US 18 months ago to live overseas but applied for and received a re-entry permit from the ICE, otherwise the Green Card would already be gone. The Green Card holder now wants to give up her Green Card before the re-entry permit officially expires in 6 months, when the Green Card would automatically become invalid.

    Thanks...

  • Which states other than Colorado license CPAs to practice as a CPA without experience as an accountant?

I do not mean simply allowing one to sit for the CPA exam, I mean licensing a person to advertise themself and practice as a CPA, e.g., auditing company financial statements.

  • Should I do a Masters by Research?

I have a BA in Economics from an American university, and I am now thinking about a Masters, either by research, or taught. I do intend to eventually obtain a doctorate in economics, but I am not yet sure whether or not I will pursue an academic career, or one as an economics consultant. If I teach, it will be outside of the UK, possibly in the Middle East. Is it possible to do a Masters by research and then go on to doctoral study, and how would academic and private employers view such a path? Thanks in advance...

  • GRE Math subject test (not general test) preparation tips?

All, I am trying to come up with a study plan for the Math GRE subject exam and would like some advice, preferably from those who have already taken it or tutored test takers, on how to prepare for it. I am aiming for as high a score as possible, and I minored in math as an undergrad. I would be especially grateful if anyone could recommend specific textbooks or study guides to work with beyond the Princeton, Kaplan, REA, Rudman, et al., subject test guides.
