Treatments for an illness have left me with very little short term memory; for example, I am likely not to remember information, or if and where I wrote it down a few minutes after receiving it.

I mis-entered my Facebook password & they asked if I wanted to reset it, then sent me a code to enter for password change, then a captcha-type graphic which I could not understand. I entered a new psswd and it looked to be accepted, but no, it would not work but I got a screen asking if I wanted to reset my passwd.

I said yes, filled in the code, and when I got the create a new password screen again, I filled that out, and was told I'd changed my password earlier and needed to enter that passwd.

Due to being differently abled, I did not remember the earlier password, or if/where I'd written it down. My only option was "help" or "do I want to reset my password" which put me back in the loop of not knowng the earlier password. I started again & was told "slow down" I was using their system "too fast" ??? so they've locked me out of the reset system.

I tried the following:

1. Calling Facebook; I got their voicemail & it disconnected.

2. Tried the "Help" and :Facebook Forums" features several times, but there was nothing applicable.

I really just want to get a password and log in, but believe I need to talk with a person to do this. Is it possible to try a different route that might help me? Thank much for any info.

When I was younger, many eons ago, I thought cute e-mail names were, well, cute -- yet they turned out to be. Oops! have just been told I have a lot of punctuation! But that's Yahoo's problem, not mine.

My problem is I want to change my primary e-mail address. When I click the circle next to the name I want to use, it doesn't move from the old primary account. Can anyone please assist? Thanks.

My yahoo mail has never worked, as long as I've had it; it's the only program I know that actually makes Windows Vista look pretty good. Unexplained delays of 1-8 hours and then receiving 10-20 e-mails with the same time stamp, not knowing if my messages go through or not (tested by sending mail to another address and OS), the glacial pace incorporated in the whole system, confusing set-up of multiple accounts that reference or forward to each other -- it seems to me to be too complicated even if it did work. Oh, just got a pop up I'm using a lot of punctuation! If only the e-mail product would work as well as the punctuation patrol. When you leave Yahoo Mail, as some of you must have done, what did you use instead? I don't think Google is mature enough and I'm afraid Microsoft is the best of a lousy lot. Opinions? Ideas?

I've been trying to get into this site for a long time, having to get members at other sites for proof of age awhile ago, now it just says closed unless you have an invitation. Does anyone know how to get an invite? This site better be stunning for all the cr*p they put your through.
