Since I was a little kid I have always wanted to be in the military, the navy to be exact, but at MEPS I failed the eye exam and later I found out I had Keratoconus. This has all happened within this year. Every time I see a commercial or see someone in the military I get filled with envy because I would do anything to be in their shoes. So my question is, with cross linking being a "cure" for keratoconus would the military ever updated their medical standards and allow people to join the military with keratoconus?

I'm 20 years old and I want to see the world. I tried the Military but I have keratoconus witch is an automatic DQ. So my question is how do I go about this? Any other jobs?

It's my exes b day and I'm just wondering if its weird to tell her happy b day? I don't have feelings for her anymore, I just wanna be nice and not give her the wrong idea.

I was medically temporarily rejected at MEPS because I failed the vision test in my left eye. I can see near and far perfectly fine and never had the need for glasses or contacts. But in my left eye my vision is blurred on the right side but when I look left through that eye everything is clear. What would that be? I have an eye exam Monday to find out I just want to know a little more before I go to it.

I can see perfectly fine at all distances. It's just when I cover the right eye everything is blurry. So my question is do I have a chance with the navy still? I just got back from MEPS and failed the vision test. My eyesight it 20 20 in my right eye and 20 100 in my left. I was given a "temporary medical rejection" I have never worn contacts or anything. So my question is does this end my hopes of being in the Navy? What should I do?

I just got back from MEPS, and I have failed the vision part of the test. My left eye is obviously horribble. I thought I had normal vision, because I can see and read from a near and far perfectly fine. So my question is what do I do now? Are my hopes of being in the Navy over? And I have never worn contacts or glasses.

My girlfriend of 3 an a half years texted me Sunday night and told me things with me and her aren't the same, she went on to say we need to meet up and talk. I'm scared she's gonna break up with me, which I have a feeling she will, I don't want to lose her though because she's my everything, but I do want her to be happy.. I was gonna give her some space but Yesterday I found out her Granny passed away, I texted her to let her know I'm here for her if she needs anything and she said thanks, and went on to say how hard it is losing her. I don't know what to do I care for her so much. What should I do between now and this weekend? And should I continue to give her space? Thanks in advance.
