Hey, I've been challenged to make a retro yugioh deck and I decided to make one based around my favourite card from the first anime, Grandora. At first, I tried running lots of token cards like Fires of Doomsday to swarm the field and Marshmallon and Spirit Reaper to stall until I summon Grandora. I started adding in chaos cards like BLS after noticing a lot of light/dark monsters. I'm playing without a banlist, this is only a fun deck.
