  • Does the SB seem strangely familiar to the week 11 matchup between the Broncos and Chiefs?

At that time the Chiefs had, not only the number ranked team in the NFL, but, were also the number one ranked defense (that's right, Seattle wasn't), allowing fewer points per game than any other team.

Um...what happened when Peyton and the Broncos unstoppable force met the Chiefs "immovable object"?

The Broncos won that game with embarrassing ease.

Look for a repeat against the Hawks on Sunday.

The Sea Hawks have never faced an offense like the Broncos, while the Broncos have already faced a so-called #1 ranked defense and prevailed!

  • How do you Pats fans feel now that you know Peyton is better than Tom.?

The NFL OFFICIALLY named Peyton Manning the 8th GREATEST player of ALL-TIME. Fan votes from ALL 32 teams put him at number 5.

Poor Brady...the NFL ranked him a distant 21st, and fans only ranked him 20th.

Also, the NFL Hall of Fame named the Colts (not the Pats) the Team of the Decade.

Seems the Pats have been on the losing end of the so-called rivalry.

Last half decade: Colts 5 - Pats 2.

As for the playoffs, Peyton actually has a better QB rating than Tom. Imagine that.

His QB rating against the Jets? 108

Brady's QB rating against the Jets after having a week longer to prepare? We won't go there. I don't want to humiliate you too much.

I will say this though. Many players have multiple SB rings (your standard argument), even back ups who never even played in the game. BUT...only one player in history has been the MVP FOUR times...and his name ain't Brady. lol

  • If I'm in the wrong area, I apologize? Not sure where to post this question.?

I am a gay male who loves his partner very much, and I want to please him totally.

He is very large down below (10x7), and I have problems taking him all the way anally.

I don't have a problem with the girth, but with the length.

Any help or suggestions? Are any positions better able to accommodate length better than others.

Again, I am sorry if this is the wrong venue for this question.

I have no wish to offend anyone.

  • Serious question (not a QB rant). Could Peyton win a 5th MVP in 2011?

The Colts played with 17 players on injured reserve.

Despite throwing to rookie receivers, being supported by walk on players, and an aging offensive line. Despite being without Collie (amazing what this kid has accomplished off the bench), Clark and Gonzo. Despite having one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Despite being without Addai for multiple games. Despite all of this, Peyton broke the record for most completions in a single season, most 300 yard games, had the No.1 passing offense in the NFL, won the AFC South division, posted a 108 QB rating in his play off appearance, and had his team in the lead with 55 seconds to go in the play offs.

the Colts will be healthy come the regular season, and Jim Irsay has promised to use the draft and free agency to rebuild the team around Peyton.

Could we see another 2004 statistical season for Peyton?

This is not a Manning/Brady: who is better rant. It is simply a question about what Peyton might accomplish this year with everyone healthy.

  • Newton "Entertainer and Icon"??? lol?

The guy played one full season of college football. He played in a spread offense.

And now, he is already comparing himself to Peyton Manning and Tom Brady!

Get real. Sounds more like another Ryan Leaf, than a Manning or Brady. Actually Leaf was BETTER in his overall NCAA career.

When making the transition from NCAA to NFL, your actions should speak more than your mouth.

Ryan Leaf was a gifted player. It wasn't his lack of ability that killed his NFL career. It was his mouth and his attitude.

Should Newton take notes? With the attitude he has, if I were a team, I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

  • Why do both the NFL and fans rate Peyton so very far above Brady?

    Greatest Players of ALL-TIME: Peyton, NFL - 8....Fans - 5

    Tom, NFL- 21....Fans - 20

Despite the "rings", Brady is ranked far, far below Peyton by both the NFL, and fans.

Do you think 4 LEAGUE MVPs might have something to do with it. Or could it be that statistically Tom will never equal Peyton.

No..I know what it is. When you give an SB ring, you give it to 50+ players.

When you give a league MVP, you give it to one player, and one player alone.

Well, maybe it could be because Peyton has more single season pass completions than any QB in history? Or maybe it's because he has more 4000 yard passing seasons than anyone else? More single game perfect passer ratings than any other QB? The highest single season passer rating of any QB in history?

Tom huddles behind multiple rings, which by the way, many "back-ups" who never even actually played in an SB have, while Peyton stands TOTALLY ALONE as he breaks record after record.

Oh, and by the way....as Tom is supposed to be "catching Peyton"....during the past half decade it's Peyton 5---Tom 2. We wouldn't want to forget the 2006 AFC Championship game.

Nor do we want to forget how Peyton had the Colts ahead with 55 seconds left against the Jets in the Playoffs (with a 108 QB rating), or how Tom , having a week more to prepare, was battered by the Jets all night, ruined his interception free streak, was sacked over and over, and had one of his LOWEST QB ratings of the season.

Sorry Tom,...you ain't Peyton's equal, nor never will you be.

Come on Pats fans! Come up with some excuses why both fans and the NFL think Peyton is SO MUCH BETTER than Tom.

  • What current player would you pick?

If you could have any current NFL player to boost your team, who would it be.

This question is all-encompassing. If you owned an inadequate football team, who would you pick to:

One player to take your mediocre team to the playoffs.

One player to increase your NFL exposure.

One player to increase your fan base

And, one player who you KNEW would do all of the above plus, make your team extremely better just by being on it?

One single player who could do ALL of this?

  • Which NFL team has been the best in the last five years? 2006-2010?

    Total won-lost record?

    Consecutive play-off appearances?

    Conference Championships?

    Division titles?

    Regular season wins?

    Total play-off wins?

    MVP's?

    Offensive Player Awards?

    Defensive Player Awards?

In other words, who has been the "all around dominant team" during this period?

This is not just for one specific year during this time, but for the five year total?

Who has been the best as a TEAM, and as a whole.

  • Peyton Manning vs Tom Brady: the last half-decade..who's the best?

Peyton - 4 (and this DOESN'T include the Colts vs Pats victory where Tom was injured).

    Brady - 1

Peyton - 8th greatest player of all time (per the NFL)

Brady - 20th greatest player of all time (per the NFL.) That would be 12 places BELOW Peyton.

Imagine that. And all this time, it seems there was no real rivalry at all.

Mr. Hoodie (Tom's Coach, by the way) said, and I quote, " there is no one like Peyton in the NFL".

  • What real good would the franchise tag do for the Colts if they don't reach a deal with Peyton?

Let's face facts. whether you love him or hate him, Peyton Manning IS the face of the NFL.

No other player has an impact on this league (during and between seasons)

    anywhere near Peyton's level.

Not Tom Brady, not Drew Brees, not Aaron Dodgers, not Big Ben, not Ray Lewis, not even the NFL commissioner. No one compares to Peyton in TOTAL influence or value to this league.

He is, and I know this is hotly debated by Pats fans, the greatest QB to ever walk on the field.

But let's forget the Brady/Peyton rivalry for a moment.

There is no NFL player that the public sees more than Peyton. To many, he is the NFL.

And, when you combine that with the fact that, he is the only ACTIVE player listed in the TOP TEN as one of the greatest to ever play the game(Brady, his supposed rival, is listed 12 places below at number 20). And he is breaking every QB record in existence. And, he is considered the best field-general/QB/coach, in the game today. And, other teams build their whole defenses and/or offenses around stopping him. When every coach in the league literally drools over him. When Mr. Hoodie himself (sorry again Pats fans), says that there is NO ONE like him in the league. When all of this is said and done, how does the NFL put a monetary value on Peyton?

How do the Colts hope to "franchise" him, when the players association says they won't recognize 2011 franchises.

I think one sports analyst said it best.

It would be the biggest "feeding frenzy" in NFL history. There are 31 teams who would do whatever it took to get Peyton Manning. In total value, NO ONE compares to Peyton...NO ONE."

  • Why is poor, poor Brady so dismissed as a QB?

When coaches talk about playing the Colts, they talk about trying to beat Peyton.

When they talk about playing the Pats, they talk about trying to beating Bill.

What does that say about Tom, when he is compared to Peyton.

Rex Ryan said it was personal with him in finally getting to beat Peyton.

He also said that it was personal with him in beating Bill.

What does that say about Brady?

He is never even a concern.

    It is Peyton and Bill.

Brady is never more than an after thought

  • Who is the greatest NFL team to ever take the field?

Asking fans this question is ludicrous, because they always find a way to pick their favorite team.

Therefore, I checked with the NFL, and guess what I found?

The 1958 Baltimore Colts are considered the "greatest team of all-time". After all, they won "the greatest game ever played".

And just as a side note...Colts and Pats fans are always debating over Peyton and Tom, and 49ers fan are quick to throw Montana in the mix, and let's not forget Elway, Bradshaw, Marino, Fouts, etc...

The simple fact is that the NFL named ONE QB to head it's ALL-TIME TEAM, and it was none of the above.

Who was it? Johnny Unitas. The only QB in history to throw a TD pass in 47 consecutive games.

The man who set the standard for all modern QB's.

But, while we're on the subject (and I'm sure this will elicit lot's of comments from Pats fans), Peyton Manning is ranked number 8 on the ALL-TIME GREATEST PLAYERS LIST. Where is Tom Brady ranked? Ahem...excuse me while I chuckle. He is ranked number 20. 12 places BELOW Peyton, who is the only ACTIVE player to rank in the top ten.

It seems that "team" SB rings don't really mean as much as being the leagues MOST VALUABLE PLAYER a record breaking 4 times!!!.

Come on Pats fans.....throw some shallow excuses at me. The NFL itsself ranks Peyton WAY AHEAD of TOM??!!! There must be some mistake!!! lol

    Let the rationalization begin!!!!

  • What do you think of Jim Irsays recent statements about the 2011 Colts?

According to Irsay, while the Colts will make Peyton the highest paid player in NFL history, they will structure his salary in a way that they can snag multiple star players from the free agent market.

His statement: "If you think the 2004 Colts and the 2008 Pats were something, you haven't seen anything yet. We're going to build this team around Peyton and make it the best team in the history of the National Football League...Peyton's legacy will be assured as the greatest player of all time. We are going to do whatever it takes to make that happen".

  • Does Brady need to study Peyton a little more?

I find it amusing that an injury depleted Colts team actually played the Jets closer than the supposedly unstoppable Patriots.

And the quarterbacks vs the Jets? Brady: QB rating-79, 1 interception, 5 sacks with 40 yards lost, had to recover his own fumble. And the Pats trailed virtually the whole game.

Peyton: QB rating-108, no interceptions, no sacks, and no fumbles. Lost due to an idiotic time-out by his stupid coach
