  • Help! I am building a computer, keep getting error messages after or during format.?

I have an ultra micro fly case with 450w PS, a Chaintech MK8T890 socket 754 motherboard, Athlon 64 3000 cpu, 512mb PC3200 Corsair, Sony DVD-RW drive, WD 250GB SATA, eVGA 256mb PC-I express. Upon trying to install XP, I can get through until the formatting of the hard drive, but then comes up with errors afterwards. It has left 6 or 7 different error messages requiring me to restart the entire process. From what I can tell, the memory tests OK. This is my last attempt to do this myself. Tomorrow it goes to the repair shop. Any help or instruction would be greatly appreciated.

  • HELP!! New XP install with different error messages. Cannot complete install.?

I am installing XP on a newly built system. I have been able to get to the formatting hard drive stage of the install process on numerous occasions. The install process has been interrupted every time by several different blue screen error messages. I am purchasing another stick of ram to see if that allows me to complete the install. The system consists of a Chaintech MK8T890, running an Athlon64 3000 754 processor, a 512mb stick of pc3200 ram, and a Western Digital 300mb SATA drive.

Forgive me for excluding any information, this is my first build. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Why does my car need a jumpstart nearly every morning when it turns over fine?

Nearly every day, I have to jump start my wife's van first thing in the morning. It will turn over like normal, but won't fire. The car seems to run fine through the day. I changed the battery terminal thinking they weren't letting enough power from the battery in or out, but after driving 150 miles yesterday, it still needed a jump this morning. !@#$!@%!!!!
