With Exel 2007 Drop-Down Lists, how can I ensure user doesn't leave the cell blank?
I created a drop down list that forces user to select 1 hour of the day (1 am, 2 pm, 3pm, etc). The user is forced to use one of these hours and no other data is allowed. This works for all other data entry except for one. Excel WILL allow the user to clear and exit the field by hitting delete. So the user has functionally inserted "wrong" data...a blank cell.
How can I prevent user from doing this? If I protect the cell, then the user can't enter in any data.
