The reasoning for choosing to return to school has many factors that play a role is the biggest decision I ever made in my life. I never thought that someone with learning disabilities could make it to college but I fooled myself once a good friend of mine told me that he was in college I decided okay maybe I should go after my dream and go to college.When I finally made the decision to return to school is that I am twenty-six years old and time is going by me fast. I really wanted to go to college as a child but after I graduated high school may 29th, 2008 I was going to join a college. The plans of me going to college right after high school just was not able to happen for me I fell ill for a long time wasn’t sure if I would live a long happy life.The moment I decided to join Ashford University was the best decision that I have made over the years. I told my parents that I wanted to go to college and they told me well how you plan to pay for school. I explained to them that I can make small payments until it is paid off this is one major thing I always wanted to do in my life can you please support me for just once in your life? My parents finally said okay Amanda you chose this not us and we will support you and help you with any questions you may have if you do not understand something. My boyfriend of a year and a half also played a role in me following my dream of becoming a college student. Tommy has told me sweetheart go after your dreams and let nothing or no one get in your way you have my support 100%. I choose Ashford because my boyfriend’s best friend is in college for the same thing I want to be doing. He is an Ashford student as well. He told me about the school and that he found that this school is a better school. They have high standards for their students and expect their students to have high standards for themselves. I am want to open up my own animal rescue center to save the lives of animals

is why I am here. I want to save the lives of animals that are being thrown from a moving car on the side of the road. Animals do not have a voice and cannot tell us what is wrong so we have to be

Their voice and show them love and understanding their needs and wants. They need a lot of love and attention just like a newborn baby or even just a child. Animals are children who need us to give them a warm, loving, caring home forever to take good care of them feed them love them nurture them. When they are sick, give them medications to help them take them to the vet to make sure they are healthy just like you would for yourself or even your children. School is my focus so I can obtain my degree to help these animals and to better my life. I chose to return to school to prove to others and myself I can do this and I will be very successful and do not need anyone who is going to bring me down. I am not a quitter I will not give up on school no matter how hard it gets.

My main point to my story is this has always been a dream of my and I made it a goal to find the perfect school that would fit me best. I wanted to make sure that no matter what quitting is not the answer you can’t quit in the middle of a job you are doing so why should I quit school just because no one else is happy for me. As long as I am happy that is all that matters and that, I still have time for my niece who is my world and I would do anything for that little girl. My thesis I have been thinking about going to college every day since I graduated high school just never thought I

would be able to do it because of my learning disabilities as long as I set my mind to doing something I always do it and make the best of things. I somehow always manage to get things done and do my best at it. I plan on continuing college until I have my degree and maybe even stay in college after this and get a degree in something else who knows. I just know I have god walking beside me through this and everything else in life. God works in mysterious ways and I love him he has helped me though so much and I asked him to please help me get through high school so one day I could go to a good college even if it is online. I think that Ashford is going to a top college in the world because what you have to offer.Having high standards for your staff, and students is something that is credible and I wanted to be in a college that was very credible. I feel that with this class I can learn how to better writer my papers I know that this is not the best of my work but I do know that I could do better by learning all the necessary steps that we are learning as we go. I am really enjoying my experience here in this class.When I made my decision to return to school, I weighed in many factors of what schools to look at.Once I went online and started to read more information about other schools, they were not as credible as what I have read about Ashford they were not strict about their rules and regulations. I felt that Ashford was the best choice
