So first off, I would like to study astrophysics in college and hopefully get a Phd. If I did ROTC, would I be allowed to delay the time from when I start serving from after 4 years to when I get my Phd?

Also, I have heard that the Air force is "where the smart people go," but I rather join the Navy (for no reason other than family and I went to a summer naval school). Are there any major differences in jobs concerning astrophysics? By this I mean would it be better to join the Airforce or Navy to get a good job in astrophysics and hopefully later transfer over to NASA?

Lastly, what can I expect to do while serving with a major in astrophysics?

I know this is a very cliche question of many young girls, but I'm asking in all seriousness. When i was younger I had always wanted to be a vet, but as I got older I wanted to become a marine biologist. And now, I have my doubts about that too. I've asked my parents if I should be a vet and my dad encourages me to, saying I would be great at it, while my mom says I'm "too smart" to be a vet, and tries to discourage me from becoming one. I know that's incorrect, vets have to be very smart. A little about me: I get all A's and B's in all my classes (sometimes my english grade will go down a little, but not for long), I'm a sophomore in high school, all honors and AP. I love all types of animals, I have many pets and I love riding horses, though I dont own one. And if I were to become a vet, i would like to be either a zoo or farm animal vet, so if you have a good website with info about either of those that would be good. Thanks!

If you are a vet, could you please tell me a bit about your job, like what you have to do daily and what the experience is like

I went to cougar elemenary (manassas park) in 2nd grade, and i cant remember anyones last names, only there first names. Is there any website or something that i could go on and find them?

The instructions are: Solve each system by graphing. Tell whether the system has one solution, infinitely many solutions, or no solution. If there is one solution, write down it down as a coordinate pair.

And the equations are: 2x-3y=3 and x+4y+-2

Could someone please just give me the answer to it? I've been trying all day to get it but i just cant. Thanks!

I have a pond in my back yard and there were are about 12 or 13 fish in it. Yesterday i was outside and 3 were dead with one on the side of the pond,and 2 of them not having a face! And then today i went outside to feed them and saw another one floating, again without a face, and missing some of its body. What do you think this could be? We think its a cat or raccoon, but were not sure.

i just bought both red tail sharks and angelfish, and i would like to know if you tell by the color arrangement, how the act,how they are built( if they have a different head, fins,etc.), or any other kind of thing. also if there is anything special i should know about them, please let me know

I just got two angelfish today, and noticed that only one had a color pattern and the rest were completly a white like color.I would like to know if it is just by chance they are all white but the one, or if it has something to do with there gender.

my dad said that it was because of cholesterol or something like that, but i also want to know if there is anyway to prevent this.If so please give me a way to prevent this.It gets really annoying.

Today i was going for a soda and i couldn't decide witch to have, a coke or a ginger-ale. Then, i remembered, once my father told me that ginger-ale and coke are good together, and to make sure i asked my sister, and she told me that it was ginger-ale and cranberry juice. so now i just wonder if coke and ginger-ale taste good together.
