I'm extremely depressed and I've considered suicide, I've cut myself to deal with these feelings for about a year now. The cutting is getting out of control. Btw I'm a 14 year old girl I just want to be happy and I really gotta stop cutting but every time in try I screw it up and cut. I live with my mom and I do have two friends who know about self harm but they honestly don't care enough to help me. Iim sick of pretending to be happy. I'm a 14 year old female and I was just sitting on the floor on my phone when all of a sudden my arm got as cold as ice and went completely numb!as that happend, I felt an awful pain in my chest/upperback and I started sweating it was awful!!! The pain was awful and I felt ligthheaded. it only lasted about a minute but I was terrified. Prior to that happening I was experiiencing some upper back pain/discomfort, It felt as if something was in my back. PLEASE HElP ILL GIVE YOU TEN POINTS!

I got my tonsils out about 5 months ago, and ever since when I eat spicy food my throat is really sensitive to it and it kind of burns. Also my throat doesn't look the same since I got my tonsils out, it looks more fleshy I guess. I think its all healed cause isn't it supposed to heal within a month? It doesn't hurt any other time besides when I eat spicy food, or hot food.

I'm a thirteen year old girl, I have gotten my period but I don't cramp. I think it's due to my terrible posture, cause it hurts mostly when I stand straight, and when I slouch it feels better. I don't do any sports. What should I do? I took medicine but it's not helping. What is the cause? If it's my posture what do I do to fix it without It hurting so terribly?

im a thirteen year old girl if it makes a difference, this morning my temp was 103, but i took medicine and as of right now my temp is 100. my lungs hurt when i cough or take a deep breath, my head hurts and im so tired but i cant sleep. my mucus is like a yellowish green, i truly feel sick, and i wanna get better before christmas really badly. should i go to a doctor? what do you think is wrong with me? i hope its not pnuemonia or bronchitis! thanks in advance

Okay so im getting my tonsils taken out on halloween, (less than a week) because i have one tonsil that is constantly swollen and really hurts and antibiotics dont help. i have recently gained ten pounds and am looking to lose some weight. i was just reading some articles and peoples stories online, and most people were saying after there tonsillectomy, they gained like thirty pounds permanately even when eating healthy! this reaaaaaalllly terrifies me, i dont wanna be overweight and not able to lose it. please someone ease my consience a bit, how can i lose weight instead of gaining and keep it off? even if i dont lose weight ill be okay as long as i dont gain a whole bunch!! i am a thirteen year old girl if it makes a difference, im 5 3 and 122 lbs, how is it possible to gain weight, doesnt make sense? please tell me your stories, i hope some people didnt gain weight! if you lost weight, how did you keep it off? my tonsil has been swollen for two months now! its kinda a long story but ill sum it up. after the first week of my tonsil being swollen i went to the doctor and he gave me antibiotics, and told me the strep test came back negative, which i already knew was going to happen. the antibiotics didnt work, so my dad called the doctor, and the doctor told me to wait it out and it should go away in a couple of days. it been two months now and its still swollen and hurts. i am gonna go to a different doc and get a second opinion prbly, unless you guys thing im overreacting. do i need them removed, cause i thik i do but the doctor still wants me to wait it out!! please help, TEN POINTS!!!!

I am a thirteen year old female, and about four days ago i noticed i had a really sore throat and felt like there was a lump or something, so i looked into the mirror and noticed i have a big bump growing right by that thing that dangles in my mouth on the right side. i have no idea what is and i have a doctors appointment tomorrow, but just wanted to get some ideas. if it helps, ive had some other symptoms that seem unrelated: earaches, stuffy nose, i just got over a cough that lasted three months, my tongue was yellow but its all gone now, pleassse heelp me, maybe its i cyst???

I have had a cough for four weeks now. the cough is so bad that I vomit, and I spit up green mucus. this morning there was even blood in the mucus... i went too the doctors about two weeks ago and they told me i had an upper respitory infection so they gave me antibiotics, but the antibiotics haven't been helping and the bottle is almost gone, i have been taking it three times daily, which is exactly what im supposed to be doing. my throat isnt sore, but my voice is coarse. just last night i realized when i cough my right lung hurts. i have had a mild fever, ninty nine. five. i've also been experiencing really bad headaches. please help me!!!! can i go to school? what do you think is wrong with me? please list names and symtoms, what i should do and if and when i need medical attention. please dont just tell me go to the doctors, obviously i know that and i will but i just want to have some ideas.
