i owe money for college and they hire debt collector for me . i have few questions:

1- What is the best way to pay the debt collector? they ask me for a wired transfer but i am not fond of this method

2- Can i pay my installment to the university directly without passing by the collector? can i get in trouble if i do so?

3- Will they charge me interest?

can i have few advice please?

I computed the MTTF from the following reliability function: R(t)=a/(t+a) calculated from pdf f(t)=a/(t+a)^2

I get MTTF = infinity. does it mean that the pfd model is wrong?

I have a question for a good friend of mine.

He came in the USA (to study) as married but he split with his wife.

Now he wants to apply for grad school and one question in the application asks if he is married or single.

- if he answer married, he may be require to provide some documentation concerning his wife but he has not them anymore.

- If he say single, he lies and it is not good.

From the INS point of view, what is the best bet? and from the school?

Will he have problems if he said married? what if his wife is illegal now? will he suffered ( immigration wise) because of her?
