The Man with No Name

Here's the deal. I'm 25, no debts and applied for my first credit card 3 weeks ago in the mail. It was a Mastercard. I got a rejection letter today. Due to insufficient credit history. Basically I don't take out loans and just pay for everything. But I need a credit card to safely buy stuff off the internet. What can I do to get approved. Help!!!!

I am an aspiring writer who would like to someday be writing novels, short stories, screenplays, etc. I give it everything I have as far as creativity goes, buy my grammar and word usage is sometimes lacking. I know that someday if I make it in, that editors and checkers will fix mistakes and polish up my manuscripts. But... right now I am a no name, and no names must submit practically flawless work. How can I improve my writing, unfortunately in school English was never my strong suite. I never could diagram a sentence very good or anything like that. Are any books or websites that could help me. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ladies, I have not had much luck in a while. I need straight answers what is wrong, why no women seem interested in me. First off I am a Manager of a store, I do work and am not a video game playing bum. I am also an aspiring writer and are submitting materials all the time. Second I do live with my Dad and Mom still, I am not a mother's boy though. I simply make 10.00 an hour and that is really not enough to live on now. I am actually saving for a house or some important purchase in the future, maybe a business. I do not go to bars, or night clubs. I love movies, comics, Sci Fi etc. but do not push it on those who are not interested. I am not buff, but not fat either. I actually look quite a bit like my avatar. So...what is wrong with my situation that causes women to not want to date me or go further. I will be honest, I am not terribly forward due to some shyness. I talk a lot to women at my job and even flirt, but can't seem to get any women in my life. Do I sound even remotely interesting to any ladies and what can I do to change this situation. Oh last off I am 25 years old, reddish brown hair (looks different in every light) and have a red short trimmed beard. I'll be brief, I used to own the DBZ Broly triple pack. 3 DVD's in 3 cases, well it has seen some action over the years and now doesn't play the best. I am in the process of buying the entire DBZ series, I plan to buy the Dragon Box's and the Steelbook DBZ movies. My question is, when I recently bought the Steelbook Broly Triple feature (which by the way comes on 2 discs rather than 3) the steelbook does not say "Uncut" like my other box set did. Does it really make a difference ? Any input by an expert on this series is appreciated. If there is a difference, will I even notice it ? Thank you in advance.

If I apply for a card and don't like it can I simply cancel it ? Or am I locked with it for a determined amount of time ? Also I asked about the 1.75 minimum finance charge. Does that mean I get charged 1.75 every billing cycle even if I pay off the balance completely and right away ? Thanks in advance for all answers.

I am terrible with maps, I can't read them to save my life. Do on board navigation systems really work ? Can they get you lost ? Which brand is the best ? Thanks for answering.

I am applying for my first credit card, the morons at my local bank that hand out the brochures for the cards do not know the first thing about them. Please Help!!!!!!!!!

First off the card is a Visa Platinum Edition card. It has 0.00 apr for the first 6 billing cycles afterward it jumps to anywhere from 9.99 to 16.99 apr variable. There is no annual or monthly fee so it says. I do not know what my limit will be they say in the brochure I will find out when I get the card. Are these good terms ? I plan only using the card for moderately small online purchases and I will pay the balance off at the first of the month. Also one last question, what is a 1.75 minimum finance charge that will be applied to every billing cycle? Thank you in advance for all answers.

Please tell me how to add a picture I have on my hard drive as my picture on Yahoo Answers. I do not want to make an avatar, just use a picture saved on my PC, I think it will suit my account better than an avatar. Please help.

I wrote a set of 10 short stories, submitted them to a literary agency in New York and they were sent back, not even being read. I realize now short stories are avoided by agents, so what can I do with them? Who can I submit them to that might be interested? Magazines? Agencies ? Please help.
