Like in 2008 Obama came out of no where. Will it happen again? O'Malley Jim Webb, Biden, Sanders is moving up in the polls....Thoughts? I think she may have some challenges but I am curious if i am the only one thinking this.

Here are some facts and interesting points on NC and why it should not be a swing state, and why I think it will go Romney. Now please let me know of your impute and if I am missing anything. I'm not trying to get in any ones face just let me know what you think of my theory of points of why I think it will go Romney.

Obama/Biden 49.70% 2,142,651

McCain/Palin 49.38% 2,128,474

#2 The Last time NC went Dem before 2008 was in 1964 for President Lyndon Johnson

#3 They voted For the Marriage amendment 61% to 39% on May 8th, making the only domestic legal union in the state between one man and one woman. ( AKA no gay marriage, no marrying a cat, no marrying 5 men...ect only legal union in the state is between one man and one woman. )

#4 John Edwards trial is making things look bad for Dems in the state

#5 the one term Dem Gov. Bev Perdue is stepping down because she is having a federal investigation because she did some similar stuff like Edwards and took campaign money for helicopter

#6 For 118 years untill 2010 the Dem have had control of the state legislature. and in 2010 for the first time in 118 years the Reps took control of the Senate and House. Now the REP got to re draw all the lines for districts for state house and senate as well as for Federal house. If you look at the districts, the REPs had to compromise a little because of Gov.Bev Perdue had to sign it. So in Federal districts the Dems got to keep their three gerrymandered districts BUT the Reps made 2 REP gerrymandered districts. leaving the other 6 or 7 simi to close to call or Dem or Rep because of the area.

#7 possible ( and unlikely ) moving the DEM convention out of Charlotte.

and just because you have a convention in Charlotte does not mean you will win the state. Same with Reps and Tampa, just because you have the convention in Florida does not mean you will win it.

I always hear Dem say we should tax the rich more and stuff

isnt that the American dream to be rich? start a bussiness, and grow from their. ....and dont the rich create jobs by starting bussiness' and stuff, and investing, and hiring people?

See I was listing to a couple of my friends debating about Romney and Obama, and I use vote Dem but I'm thinking of changing this time around.

So, i'm jw why Dem wanna tax like 45% and stuff.....do they think the government can do better things with their money or something? ( pro-romney friend ask my other friend this and he said something like yes and rich ppl are evil or somthin idk....)

but after hearing all this I'm thinking I'll change to romney and maybe GOP....but I wanna hear a better side from the Dems first cuz my pro-obama friend didnt do it well and i thought to be fair i'll come here and ask.

Now do you think the GOP will take the senate and white-house in 2012 and keep the house majority?

Obama loses 2012 election. 2016 election comes up and GOP is up for re-election. Do you think Obama would run and be like President G.Clevland and be a 2 term president but not in a row? I was even wondering that if he lost if he would run as a VP with someone then in 2020 0r 2024 run for president. DO you think any of this is possible?
