  • Linear Algebra Question????? Any hints???

Let M2×2(R) denote the vector space of all 2 × 2 matrices with real coefficients. Which of the following are subspaces of M2×2(R)? For those which are subspaces,

justify your answer completely. For those which are not, show (using examples) which

properties of being a subspace fail.

    (1) The set of all matrices [a b c d ] with a + b + c + d = 0.

    (2) The set of all matrices [a b c d ] with a + d = 0.

    (3) The set of all matrices [a b c d ] with ad − bc = 1.

  • I ve been trying to get into contact with my college professor who won t respond??

I had him for a class last semester and he gave me a C+ weeks after the deadline for grade submissions. I emailed him and called his phone just asking why I got the grade to no avail.

I got the school s vice dean to try to get in contact with the teacher but still nothing. He teaches at a high school 10 minutes away from the school. I just called him and it was obvious that he just ignored my call as it went to voice mail after 12 seconds but I still left a message.

I ve been nothing but polite and respectful but it s been over 6 weeks and it s getting ridiculous. Is there ANYTHING I can do so I can find out why he tanked my gpa? It seems as if he just made up the grades he gave and doesn t want to get caught or something.

  • College Grade Help?

So my professor took over a month to put in my final grade for my class. He never gave a syllabus or the grades for the vast majority of class assignments and reports.

When he finally put the grades in, he gave me a C+. I thought I did much better than that in the class so I ve emailed him asking him why I got that grade. I ve sent numerous emails by this point and he has never responded.

What should I do? The grade really screwed up my GPA and thus my chances at getting an internship so I want to know why I got it.

  • Need help editing my poem for class?

Children spilled out across the counter

    Six sets of hands grabbing

Intersecting one another with no care for manners

A tower of food stands precariously on chipped china plates

A barked order from mother stops all movement

Her joy quickly retreat to their respective seats

    Conversation starts and stops intermittently

As sounds of chewing whine out any attempts

Steps from the front hum towards the kitchen

The father stands sweaty after a morning of playing

Around a diamond with middle-aged men running

He stares at his children and wife, lips twerked upward

The family is together for the first time all week

Even breaking out placemats to celebrate

    The meaningful morning

  • Transferring?

I'm applying to transfer and I was wondering if I could mail the documents myself if I got them filled out by the university or if the university needs to mail them. (Documents in question: College report, transfer mid-term report, and final report)

  • Physics Problem?

A baseball is given an initial velocity with magnitude v0 at an angle ϕ above the surface of an incline, which is in turn inclined at an angle θ above the horizontal

Calculate the distance, measured along the incline, from the launch point to where the baseball strikes the incline. Your answer will be in terms of v0, g, θ, and ϕ.

What angle ϕ gives the maximum range, measured along the incline?
