6 AnswersPolls & Surveys4 years agoWindows Media Player?
I have over a hundred home movies (video taken on a Kodak "Easy Share C653) that while I can hear the sound very well, I can NOT SEE the video.
I have Windows 10 on a Gateway Computer, and am using "Windows Media Player". The videos are in the .mov format, if that makes any sense.
I would be grateful to anyone who can tell me how to covert these videos from .mov
format to any other format that would enable me to be able to see all of those movies of my children and grandchildren.
If someone does decide to help me, I want to thank you in advance!
1 AnswerSoftware5 years agoCan't get CD to play?
Have Gateway computer, with Windows 10. I could play CDs previously, but it has been about 6 weeks ago.
I don't know what format they were "burned" in but I would like to see it, as it is of a church service. I have several professional CDs (video) that won't play now, either.
I have Picasa 3, Windows media player, and Quick time
Any help that could be given, I think you in advance!
3 AnswersSoftware5 years agoPhotos from Pluto and now Jupiter?
I know that the photos are transmitted back to earth by radio, but just exactly how are the transmitters on the spacecraft aimed back to earth?
With the spacecrafts traveling x number of miles per hour, do the radio waves "spread-out" in order to be received here on earth?

2 AnswersSoftware5 years agoThe cost of a free stupidity test?
I'm always on the outlook for a good bargain, and in a store fairly close to where I live there is an opportunity to pay just $ 25.00 to take a "free" stupidity test.
I paid the money, took the test (failed it!) and now my wife (who is VERY intelligent) is angry with me. She said I should have not paid more than $ 15.00 for it.
Does anyone think that I paid too much?

2 AnswersOther - Computers7 years agoWindows Media Player?
Earlier this year I transferred from Windows XP to Windows 8, then upgraded to 8.1
I had copied all of my photos and videos (PICASA) and then loaded them on 8.1
I also had to download PICASA 3; unfortunately, my videos will NOT play.
I can get them to play (but not in full screen) in Quick Time (File Type .MOV)
I try to open with Windows Media Player; I can get sound (there is the symbol for a musical note on a full blue screen), but can NOT see anything.
Since I am not very computer literate, I would appreciate (really!) if someone would be so kind as to instruct me step-by-step on how I can view these of Media Player (if possible?).
Thank you in advance for any help that is provided!
