Are we going to just sit here and watch him die?
My b/f of two years is 35 and in very good health. Non-smoker, non-drinker, works out regularly. He is divorced with one son and I am divorced with one daughter. He lives with me and my daughter, and we are totally happy. 22 Days ago, he got a very high fever of 104. (He is not currently insured, too expensive through his work). He had the fever, nausea, chills and nightsweats. No other symptoms. He went to an ER two weeks ago, and the doctor there did blood work, and x-rays and sent him home with no diagnosis. Then, he visits a doc-n-the-box twice, paid them $155.00 each time, and got prescribed two different antibiotics, and taken both prescriptions fully and is not better. His fever is still there, he has NO appetite, he has lost weight and is extremely pale. He is still running a fever, but we are keeping at bay with lots of aspirin, ibproufen and tylenol. I don't know what else to do. We didn't travel outside the country, he hasn't been bitten by a flea or tick, and has no STD's. I can't imagine what this possibly is, and I can't hardly even look at him without breaking down in tears. I know I have to stay strong for my daughter. All of the blood tests and x-rays that the three different visits have come up with no answers. We are told that everything "looks" normal. He just goes to work everyday, and I know he is miserable. We have applied for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Individual, so perhaps a specialist can see him and determine what is wrong...but it won't take effect until August 1, 2012. That is still over TWO WEEKS away. I can't hardly sleep, I am online every night trying to play doctor, and find out what is wrong with him. How can someone run a high fever for this long and not have any other symptoms? He has developed a small cough (in the past week), and coughs up clear sputum. I usually always have a plan in my life, I always know what to do, but in this situation, I have no idea. Should he go to a primary care doctor and BEG to be seen? We have been told no so many times b/c he doesn't have insurance. "We aren't accepting new patients currently"is what they say. Should he go to a different ER and pray that the doctor there will have a "House" moment and figure out what is wrong with him? Should we just keep loading him up with tylenol and hope he doesn't die before August 1st? Someone please help me, I am desperate to help this man. I have prayed and prayed and am slowly losing my faith.
4 AnswersInfectious Diseases9 years agoI'm feeling a bit strange about this..?
My boyfriend of 2 years has been divorced from his ex- wife for 7 years. They have one son together. I have a daughter from a previous marriage. I am totally in love with my boyfriend and our relationship is good. My little girl also thinks the world of him. However, his ex wife has been with the same man since the divorce. He left her two weeks ago...they had one child together. So now, she's single, desperate and struggling with two kids. She's having a rough time. I noticed that all of a sudden my boyfriend has been texting/calling her a TON more than he ever used to in the past (now that this man left her). When I asked him about it, he tells me that she is going through a rough time, and needed to talk. Prior to her being alone, they NEVER talked, and actually he despised her. I feel threatened by their constant talking. He will even text or call me during the day to tell me something that she's going through. It seems that most of his conversations with me now concern his ex. I have explained to him that it bothers me to talk about her so much, and he gets irritated and defensive and yells that he cant talk to me about anything. I feel that he might be having feelings for her, and when I ask him he gets mad at me for asking. Is it possible for someone to rekindle feelings for an ex after 7 years?

1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoWhat could be causing right side flank/back pain?
Hello. I am a female, 29 years old. I have one daughter who is 4. Eight months ago, I began to have a very small amount of pressure in my lower back/flank on the right side. I couldn't sleep on my left side due to it causing a 'sinking' pressure feeling on the right side. It felt better to just sleep on the right side. In the past month the pressure has gotten more intense, and it is uncomfortable to sleep on my right side. I now must sleep on my back to be comfortable. I have not had health insurance all this time, I will have it next week (new job). I am very scared about what it might be, I have done alot of research online. I have no problems with bowel movements, or urinating, or menustration. Everything is normal, my bp is fine (80/120) and my temperature is always normal, no fever. I am not nauseated, and the pressure i'm feeling is not actual pain, its more of a tenderness...a tugging feeling. I am stressed about it to the point of crying. I am so scared about what I will find out is wrong when I do go to the doctor. When the pressure started 8 months ago, it wasn't this intense, and I thought it would just go away. I don't feel that it is a back injury, no matter what position I am in, I can still feel the 'tugging' feeling. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem? What was the outcome? Has anyone ever gone online and freaked themselves out about what MIGHT be wrong with them? I appreciate any input.
Other - General Health Care9 years agoWhich subwoofers and amp do I need (toyota 4runner).?
I have a 2007 toyota 4runner. I am wanting to put some subwoofers in the back, and I know I need some kind of amp. Not wanting to mess with the factory speakers at all. I have no clue about any of these things. Not looking to spend more than 500 bucks. I read something about overpowering the factory speakers, but again im clueless to all of this. Any suggestions?
1 AnswerCar Audio1 decade agoOn the i-phone app "whos here" does it say someone is online, when they're really not?
I want to know if on the iphone application, whos here, if it says someone is online, could it just be from where they left their phone on the app, and say perhaps fell asleep? Or are they actually online navigating the app?

Can I get in any trouble (other than debt) by being approved and creating multiple charge accounts for one retailer? I have 4 active accounts to a particular retailer. I have used my maiden name and married name to get the different account numbers.
1 AnswerCredit1 decade agoMy husband has done a 360? Why?
My husband lately seems to have a hot temper and brings his frustration home from work. We have a baby girl who is the sweetest, and he loves her dearly. We don't talk much anymore due to time constraints (home late from work and such). I feel like our relationship is slowly falling apart, and that breaks my heart because of our little girl. If I try to talk to him about the problems we face, he becomes very defensive and standoffish. I'm not sure what to do. Just ride it out and see what happens?
22 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoI cant figure out why my daughter has a rash on her ear?
My 16 month old daughter has a red rash around/in her ear (left) that she woke up with this morning. I looked for drainiage in case it was an ear infection..none. She doesnt seem to be running a fever. Her ear is completely red as well as her earlobe. She doesn't seem fussy, or in pain. Has anyone even dealt with this? Is this an ear infection? or a rash of some sort?
