  • Why did my yahoo message board crash today?

I was reading posts on my message board at

    http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/dominie/

for people with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome - suddenly most of the information disappeared! Looks like the message board has crashed! Does anyone know what might have happened? We have 368 members, so I need to get this up and running again ASAP. Thanks for your help.

  • Does anyone have a cure for cold sores once they have formed?

I get large cold sores on my nose several times a year. Usually I don't sense the "tingle" soon enough to take acyclovir (anti-viral) that the doctor prescribed. I tried taking Lysine long term and that didn't help either. I use probiotics and take the finest nutritional supplements. I've also tried zinc, Tetrasil ointment, colloidal silver, etc. Recently, I have been using nail polish remover alternating with rubbing alcohol to dry them up (recommended on a popular cold sore website), and that seems to help more than anything. These horrible cold sores are disfiguring and unsightly, and I'd sure like to know if there's a better way to handle the outbreaks. Having had CFIDS (chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome) since 1987 - see www.fms-help.com - I know my body continuously battles infections and viruses of various kinds. I work hard to keep my immune system in shape, but even so, these cold sores keep happening. Any help will be appreciated.
