Did any of you notice the following? When Emily remembered she was in the diner that night, there were distinctly two people whose reflections could be seen on the coffee pot or something in front of her. On the left was a guy who I'm almost 100% sure that looked like Holden. On the left was a girl wearing a blue outfit. As Jenna was wearing pink that night, that may rule her out. This girl had black hair, was about Maya's height and it looked like her complexion was similar to Maya, too. Could Maya be alive? Another person who may fit this description is Mona. She may have snuck out of the center, having many visitors and being super-sleuthing and all.

Also, on the mat in front of Emily, someone (with a hand that had no nail polish) wrote "Sorry I left you". That sounds like something Maya would say to Emily. Or Paige, and I haven't noticed her usually wearing any nail polish either.

What do you think?

I have heard people saying she's hilarious, but I can't remember any particular funny things she has said. Can you refresh my memory on this please? :)

Damon's attitude towards Elena did it for me! He's controlling, bossy, treats her like she's incapable of making her own decisions, even physically manhandles her and borders (or already crossed the line?) on committing intimate partner violence...!! No amount of hotness in him will make up for those...!

Basically, I made a decision about the career that seemed to be right for my personality years ago and underwent several years training for it. However, drastic events during this period resulted in me becoming much more of an introvert than the extrovert I was back then.

Now I'm having second thoughts about starting working in that career. According to my recent years' experience, when I've been in that work environment I've had recurrent episodes of irritable bowel syndrome causing terrible continuous pain (unresponsive to several medical treatment regimens tried), depression, attacks of anxiety and fainting attacks. Also, due to the difficulties in the training period, although I got through all my exams (a number of times with having to repeat them), I'm not at all confident that I have sufficient knowledge and ability to tackle to job.

On the other hand, I sometimes remember the reasons I wanted to do this job in the first place, the immense satisfaction it brings in helping people, and the thrill & drive of it. Then I wonder if I'll miss that opportunity, cos if I turn back now it's most unlikely I'll easily get back into this career again.

Weighing pros and cons of both sides what do you think is a better decision to make? Or is there another way of handling this?

Mine was the 3rd cos in that all my favorite matches for each of the characters have worked out and those couples are together. E.g.

Blair + Chuck (intense and excellent connection & chemistry! plus well suited in characteristics)

Nate + Serena (In my opinion, both are the best looking & hottest among the guys and the gals, not to mention both being really nice, and look so good together!)

Dan + Vanessa (Both have this kind of judgmental tendency so seem suited for each other. Besides, love the best friends in love concept. Also, Vanessa liked Dan for so long, its always nice when that works out.)

Rufus + Lily

Plus love the cool fashion in the season. Also, Chuck turning into a sensitive nice person, till his supposed mother came along and ruined him even more.

I have only watched The Vampire Diaries TV show and not read the books, but heard there are many differences between them. How do they differ? Also, how does the book series end?

I think he was absolutely right a few episodes ago in calling himself a 'judgmental dick'...! He has put down all the people who have been there for him through the years in his precious book, but not written a single bad word about Blair, when she was absolutely horrible to him throughout the years...! Plus in his own words his own sister is afraid to come home even for their parents' anniversary due to fear of being bullied by Blair!

I hate how he blames all his choices on Serena. She never asked him to get miss that job interview on preparing for SATs, he never even mentioned to her he had them coming, those were his choices! Also I can't understand people who say they don't like Serena but like Blair; everyone has their faults but Serena is at least nice to people amidst a crowd where being mean to others is apparently the norm..!

The next episode of the show won't be out till the beginning of January and I can't wait! :) Especially with how things left off between Damon and Elelna in the last show.... and also Stefan getting mad and turning on Klaus now...!
