Since I was 17 I've had no permanent address and have never paid council tax as a result. I've travelled abroad, lived in a caravan n sofa surfed! Now I've settled down and I'm moving into a flat next week so I wanted to notify the council but what do I put where it asks for my previous address when I don't have one? If I put N/A will they accept this? Will they try to make me pay for the last 10yrs???? Freaking out as I've read a lot of stories online how people couldn't prove where they've lived before and now they owe thousands. Also any mail I've ever had has been sent to my Mums house is this a problem too? Or do I not need to mention her at all? I don't want her in trouble too!!! Thanks in advance.

I work in a store in a shopping centre in London. I fell sick at work in the staff room (later at hospital was told I was suffering from dehydration and hypothermia) fell asleep more like passed out and another member of staff woke me. I was shaking and shivering so she ran down and told the manager who said she was too busy to come and check on me so the staff member went and got some people that work for the shopping centre. They were the ones that called the ambulance and my employer never rang me or my next of kin. Have they been negligent? Please help as I feel let down, no one came in the ambulance with me or even bothered to find out how I was and it's a very well known company that I work for.

I work in a major clothing retailer in central London, i'm new to the store but not the company. The place is crawling with rats/mice..in the locker room area, the stockrooms e.t.c when I told a member of management they replied with 'I know' and laughed! The other staff have told me about finding nests of them behind boxes in the stockroom too! I'm worried that I could catch something, what can I do? Can I report it without giving my name? P.s. you might want to consider washing your clothes first if buying from a central London store! UGH!

Sometimes if I turn my head quickly a muscle in my neck locks and it's soooooo painful. Its from the top of my neck at the back and it goes all the way to the bottom of my neck near my shoulder blade. It happens on both sides and lasts for up to 20mins. Sometimes it even happens in my sleep and wakes me up. I would go to a chiropractor but they're a little pricey.

I love chedder, brie, ricotta, any soft cheese, parmesan...... I could go on and on and on....

(My laptop Dell inspiron 1525 was originally purchased from PC World) My laptop 'contracted' a virus and basically wouldnt allow me to even get onto my desktop so my father-in-law took it to PC World for me, they said it was cost £49.99 to repair it but if we wanted them to 'try' and save stuff we had saved on it, it would cost an additional £100. Now my father-in-law said yes to the £100 because he knew I would want some important documents from it. Anyway we got it back the same day (in the evening) and not one single thing was saved! Even the icons from the desktop were gone only 'my computer' and 'recycle bin'!!!!!!!!! Now do I just not know alot about computers or should they at least of been able to save something?

NOTE: They did say 'try' to save, are they even allowed to say 'try'? Is that not like ringing Pizza Hut for a pizza delivery, paying for it by card on the phone and them saying'oh we will 'try' to deliver it to you?'

I bought a meccano set from ebay but it turns out that the remote control doesn't work. I could send it back to the seller but then it will end up costing me money and I bought it as a present for my little brother. Does anyone know where I could buy a replacement controller? I just signed up to Sky HD. Sky told me that I would have to change my landline to BT as I was previously with Virgin. Ok, so I did that. Then Sky offered me broadband with the package. So I said ok great (easier to pay everything all in one instead of being with my other internet provider) so I cancelled that also. After coming to install my HD box and changing my landline to BT, Sky then said 'oh sorry Sky Broadband isn't available in your area'!!!!! I went and checked various websites with an availabillity checker and they all said Sky Broadband IS available. What is going on????

Basically when I bought the laptop it already had windows vista on it, then my laptop crashed (wouldnt turn on) so had it fixed (replaced hard drive) I lost all my work e.t.c Usually on the desk top at the top there would be a menu where I could select internet explorer and an icon for my camera as well as other things, and as soon as I would click on the camera icon my camera would open and be ready to take pictures, now that menu is gone completely! Now I can't find my camera anywhere just the actual settings for it but thats it. Please help!

If anyone knows more on this or has paid the £20 admin fee please let me know.

Oh and there is always someone at home to let him out when he actually needs to go. Up until now the pooping hasn't been a problem. It started when we tried to ignore him.

I currently work in retail. It's a large company and the shop is in a shopping centre (i'm not saying which one coz i'm a bit paranoid). I'm on a 20 hour contract. I work 3 days a week and i'm always expected to stay behind with other colleagues practically every night i'm there. For example if i'm supposed to leave at 9pm and things are still a bit untidy which they usually are coz it's a huge shop and we're always short staffed the manager will keep us there til 9.20pm but will only pay us til 9pm. Now I know it's only 20mins but thats 3 times a week and we have to be there at least 10mins before start time for a meeting that hardly ever takes place! Our rotas go up about 3 days in advance only and if you complain about it (like some people have) you get sacked but obviously they give you a bulls**t excuse like we're cutting hours. Which is what happened to my friend however they hired a new girl 2 days before giving her 1 weeks notice even though she'd been working there almost 10 months. There is so much more but I just wanted to know if they are aloud to do this. Please help as I might be facing the chop soon! At least I think I am! I have been working there a year come August, and the only contract I've ever signed was my probation one when I started which does state that i'm supposed to be switched to a permanent after four months. I'm too scared to ask if i'm on a permanent as I don't want to bring attention to this. I know it's a crappy retail job but I need it right now.

We've had him since Wednesday, his stools have been ok but when he went today it was runny. Not overly runny just a bit. It might just be the change in food, he's drinking water normally. I will yake him to the vets tomorrow, just wondering if anyone had any thoughts? His behaviour is fine still running around like a happy pup.
