  • where can i get a really thin toilet brush?

I have one of the new toilets that have a very thin gap around the rim. Where can I get a toilet brush with a very thin wire stalk, so it fits under the rim? I have tried bottle brushes but they're too thick. Do you know of a very thin stalked bottle brush? Any suggestions on what I may be able to make up to do the job?

  • Quelltaler beer. Did it exist?

I could have sworn I saw people in Australian pubs & restaurants drinking Quelltaler Beer often, many years ago but I have found nothing on the internet except Quelltaler Wine. I'm starting to think I've gone mad. The bottle was brown glass, in the shape of the Crown Lager bottle & Quelltaler was clearly written on the label. Was it actually wine & if so, which wine? Was it a similar name to Quelltaler. Apart from Crown Lager, Swan Special Bond beer & Sterling Beer, does anyone recall another bottle in this shape? I know I didn't imagine this bottle but is my memory of the name right? Apparently Australia didn't keep records of Beer in earlier times. I've already checked with the Foster's Group & they don't know anything about it.

  • What does pcs mean in ingredients of a recipe?

Pieces is the first thing that comes to mind but it can't be. How can you have 2 pcs Vacuum Pack Bag, 8 pcs Egg Yolks & 3 pcs Whole Eggs among other things? If it is pieces, how does this apply to these ingredients?

  • Has the term 'Vegan' always included not using animal products that you don't eat?

I am loathe to ask a vegetarian question as it seems to cause bad feeling but this isn't about Meat Eaters versus Vegetarians or Vegans. I simply need a definition cleared up. I was always under the impression that being Vegan just referred to not eating dairy & eggs as well a meat. I went to a Seventh Day Adventist health farm & the leader of the program told me that. He may just have left out using animal products like fur, hide etc. Think hard before answering this. The word Vegan, seems to have become the accepted term covering eating AND use of animal products. Was it always that way? It will be interesting to hear from very long term Vegans on this point or maybe you can ask a Vegan who's been one for 20 or 30 years. Is there a term for meat eaters who don't believe in killing animals for their fur etc. Thanks. I like to get my information right.

  • I'd like to hear what you think of my theories about how the law allows criminals to get away with things.?

First of all, should murderers be allowed to use the temporary insanity plea so much? Granted there may be times when this is true or the person is insane or a psychopath that should be taken out of society to protect the people but even then they may let incurable people out to be a danger again. Surely in many cases, it's really a case of the person got angry & decided not to use self control. Our brains compute faster than a computer, so in a split second we assess situations to see if they're right & if we'll be sorry we did it afterwards. There is always a reason we do things, good or bad but is it an excuse? Most of us know right from wrong. Are many of these people hiding behind insanity pleas? What happened to being judged on what you've done without flimsy excuses? I am also appalled at how many drink drivers get off even when they're multiple offenders or in some cases have killed or maimed people as a result. Is it an excuse for the system to say they don't have enough jails? If the population expands to where we need more water, we can build more dams if necessary. Isn't the problem serious enough to build more jails if necessary? I know the system tries to work on rehabilitation of criminals but in some cases that won't happen, so what do you do with the pedophiles, rapists & habitual murderers? I don't think jails is about punishment but purely to keep dangerous people away from society & maybe teach some who get it that what they did won't be tolerated. The families of victims need closure. They need to know the person who hurt their loved ones, isn't out there living their life happily & maybe doing it again, while their family suffers permanent physical or psychological damage or death. I'm not talking about revenge. I don't believe it's sweet. After you've had your revenge, it still leaves a hole that isn't satisfied & nice people aren't proud of what they've done afterwards either. What's the answer? Is there one? How come the criminals end up with more consideration than the victims. I bet the police get frustrated when all their hard work catching criminals seems for nothing.

  • How do you put a warning on the internet? Isn't Google or anyone interested in eliminating unsafe sites.?

At least I can warn all who visit this sight. I went into a site for Lillehammer liqueur (I think) & a pop up, looking just like Window's came up & said I had problems with my computer. Being new at internet & not knowing about fake pop ups, when it asked if I'd like to do something about it, I said yes. A window saying they were Security Shield, with a blue shiled logo came up & asked if I'd like to check for viruses. I said yes, to Save, thinking I was downloading a scanning program then they supposedly scanned & found every virus under the sun. They then asked if I wanted to remove them & of course I said yes. Next they asked for my credit card & details before they debugged my computer. Luckily, I don't have a credit card but I wouldn't give my details on the internet anyway. Unfortunately, the damage was done. I couldn't use any program on my computer. Apparently I picked up a trojan virus & that let the Security Shield virus in. If I had scanned with my own security program, I could have cleared it. Fortunately, it doesn't harm your data, just makes it impossible to use programs. No sooner does the opening screen come up (if at all) then it disappears & Security Shield screen comes up asking if you wish to get their program or continue unprotected. It's a renaming of an old bug that's only been around this month, December 2010. I went on the internet & typed 'How to remove Security Shield' & found a video of a nice young man who explained the simple steps clearly. It was hard to get into Task Manager or Control Panel like he said because the virus wouldn't let me but I managed to type 'Local' into search, to get 'Files & Folders'. Under Local I found the hidden virus, which was still running then you change it's name, so it can't support itself, I suppose. Rebooted & it had stopped running. Went back into Local & deleted it. Hooray! I was lucky. Ran my own security program to remove Trojan virus or it would let Security Shield in again. Selected no pop-ups now, so I can't accept anything like that. Places where pop-ups are necessary like Yahoo answers, has thin line at top of email that lets me temporarily wave pop-ups & so does Google, so that's alright. I'd still like an answer to my question. How can you report virus sites? I am glad I got a chance to warn you about this virus. Some unfortunately may already know about it but it is fairly new. It's a bogus program that does nothing but bug the operating side of programs on your computer & take your money for nothing if you let them. Thanks for reading this.

  • Is anyone old enough to remember Red Tulip & Black Tulip bottled alcoholic drinks.?

They were a favourite in the 50s, like Pimms. Probably with a sherry base. My mum served them to our guests. I'd like to know what was in them & who made them. Apparently there's a black tulip beer but that's not it. They were distributed in Australia but I don't know where else. It's probably discontinued. I also want to know about Galliano Romana, Opal Nera & Lago Nera.

  • Is anyone old enough to remember Red Tulip & Black Tulip?

It was a popular alcohol in the 1960s, like Pimm's. I can't find any information on it. I'm also having trouble finding information on Galliano Romano, Opal Nera & Lago Nera. I'd like to know what they were made of, even who produced them & if they're discontinued, which I suppose they are.
