Well, it's gonna sound a little wierd. I recently bought a dell laptop with ubuntu pre-installed. I booted the laptop and to my surprise someone had already set the username and password.I asked the store owner for the password and they said it had been set by a person who was just checking out some laptops in their store and they had no info about him. So they didnt know the password. Now i can ony use ubuntu in guest session. i cant use the internet as i must authenticate to do anything.the shop owner said that he would replace it with windows 7 as he didnt know how to install ubuntu but i didnt want that.

So is there any way i can solve this thing or should i reinstall ubuntu? Also is there any difference in the pre-installed ubuntu and the one i'll install?(may be i'll have problem in setting a lot of stuffs...??)

it's a game for kids to help them learn the names of animals.here the player has to save the animal from a big lion's mouth wide open by clicking the correct name from the options given. picture of an animal is hung right above a big lion keepin it's mouth wide open. 3 names of animals are given as options. if the kid clicks on the correct option he has succeeded in saving the animal.

Well, everytime i insert any pendrive in my laptop, the files and folders of the pendrive get duplicated which stays in form of application while my original files and folders get hidden.i deleted all the duplicated ones and turned the hidden mode to read only.but this same problem appears again after i reinsert the same pendrive or any other pendrive. i have no idea how to solve this problem. this previously occurred only in one of my laptops but now after my sister accidently copied files from my virus infected laptop to the uninfected one, both my laptops have been infected.... please help!

i'm about to study computer engineering and would like to know how to get ready for it. i'm a lot intrested in studying computer engineering but i've got no idea how to start off. can anyone give me tips on how do i make my self ready for it and how can i keep getting better grades? i have about a month before the classes. i appreciate any help..

well, i have a house made for pegions at my terrace. and every time the pegions give birth to a baby and as the baby grows big, they kick it out of its nest. i know they do it to help the young pegion fly, but since the baby pegion usually cant able to fly we keep it back to the nest. but later it is again kicked out from the nest. more over it even cant eat the grains that we spread over the ground to feed the pegions while all the other grown up pegions eat it. this has happened many times to other new baby pegions. ultimately the babies either die due to hungert on are either killed. we even tried to feed it but it died itself the other day. can we do anything to stop this?

well,i used to use internet from google crome using a cable net and a D-Link in my laptop. but i had to delete google chrome as it was infected by CLARO SEARCH ENGINE. and now i cant use the D-Link router. do i have to reset the router?

she didn't bleed externally nor did she get unconscious.she only has pain in the affected area which has swollen. at the beginning it had swollen only near the one side of the eye.we used ice packs and castor oil on the area. but later even the eye started swelling.it seemed like the fluid slid down towards the eye. we're going to the doctor when its morning. but till then CAN YOU PLEASE ADVICE ME will this affect her eye? and will the swollen area disappear. will it have long term effects? advice please what i can do?
