Nothing to see here. Just a quiet guy with too many opinions, too many wisecracks and apparently too much time on his hands. I also answer rhetorical questions.

type in your first name, then

    type in your nickname

Skip the email part, but hit 'visualizar'

  • Does GAP realize the harm their ad is doing to them?

That irritating little blurb that plays EVERY SINGLE TIME I check to see new questions is so irritating that I shut off the sound.

Now, not only is GAP not getting their money's worth of advertising, they've probably ruined it for other advertisers, too.

Or maybe I'm just too irritable and need more coffee..

  • Contractor or Employee?

Your opinion? Joe is considered a subcontractor for MiddleMan who works for Big Cable. BigCable provides MiddleMan with a list of disconnected customers and street addresses. Joe uses this list to sign up customers, collect equipment and past due balances. MiddleMan pays Joe a commission on all of these.

Joe provides his own car, gas, tools, pays for his own uniforms. Joe works his own hours and is never paid a wage. No deductions are made from his bi-weekly commission check. He is considered a 1099 worker. He has signed a non-compete clause. Joe can work 2 hours a day or 15 and it makes no difference in his check

The list is updated bi-monthy. Middleman would like to see the old list to check on what has and has not been done. Middleman would like to direct Joe's actions so that the list is better covered. Joe would rather work the area in the way that makes him more money.

Is Joe an employee or a contractor?
