  • Correct way to greet someone from Japan?

    Hello,

    I firmly believe in respect, and trying to respect others customs and beliefs, so this issue has been bothering me slightly.

    I regularly purchase products from Japan, and they write english very well.

    My name is A***** C*** and they refer to me as Mr C***.

    The person signs off the email Best Regards, Masa.

    I am assuming this is a male name, but could be wrong.

    Is this their surname or first name?

    Do I call them Mr Masa or Masa san or something else?

    I am trying to be respectful.

    Any answers greatly appreciated.

  • employers wall of shame?

    my current employer has a wall of shame, with photos of previous employees and their full names, that walked off the job. Is this illegal or just bad taste?
