Will white show on my skin, I'm brown skin, think Ghandi's skin tone but maybe a little lighter would small white spirals show on that skin color?

How can I keep to myself at work without offending people? Okay I'm anice person, I have no qualms with people usually, I'm not shy, nor depressed, not socially awkward, fact is I can hold conversations just as well as anyone and when I want to be I'm actually funny and, still, I usually prefer being alone, dislike being touched (not a phobia, just don't understand unneeded physical contact) and spending my breaks reading or working on personal projects. Somehow my being this way can and has offended people even those I've worked with for years still get offended when their attempts at friendliness are POLITLEY dismissed, this can lead to and has led to open hostility which can make working in the same enviorment more of a chore than need be. I've become even more solitary because once you oblige people by being conversational and friendly they expect you to keep up that behavior andwhen I don't they can get offended or hurt. I don't get it.
