YA Spammers: what do they gain?
Check out this user: http://answers.yahoo.com/activity;_ylt=ArQ_RB3eKAh...
She (or he) has posted the same questions, sometimes with a different question but the same details, over and over and over again (415 times) during the past year. She makes few answers, so she has no points. There aren't any links to spammish products. Why is she doing this?
Many of her questions have shock value, and make her out to be a horrible person. When she selects a "Best Answer", her comment is always "Good Answer". She often gives Best Answer to somebody who has criticized or insulted her.
What does it all mean? I've seen others on here doing the same thing...posting the same question over and over. I understand the ones that repost a few times because they don't get any answers, or don't get the answer they want. But this is different...it's more like a relentless Craigslist spammer with an agenda.
Any ideas?

For a beginner cook, did I do alright on this knife purchase, or did I pay too much?
This is a Christmas gift for my beginner cook 15 year old son, who also wants other gifts, not just knives. I passed on an Emeril set and got this instead:

$29 total incl shipping. Did I do OK?
1 AnswerCooking & Recipes10 years agoAre Emeril knife sets okay for a young beginner chef?
My son is 15, loves cooking and is planning on becoming a chef. He hasn't had any classes yet, but will go to a 2 or 3 session class in January. He asked for a knife set for Christmas. I've seen questions regarding high-end sets by Henkels, Wurstof , Victorinox, etc. But he's just a young beginner, and spending that kind of money would preclude any other gifts, which I'm sure he doesn't want to do.
I can get a 5 piece Emeril set for $30 in a nice case. Would it be a total waste of money, or a good starting-off point for him? I think he'd probably like it, but will culinary teachers and other students at the beginner's level show disapproval?

I want all the US episodes only....not dubbed Japanese versions. I prefer to use bittorrent. Thanks.

if I transfer data now to an internal-style SATA hard drive that's in an external USB enclosure, and then later remove it from the enclosure and install the HD internally. Will the data make it?

5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoCan you open a bunch of links at once?
I already know a really handy way (I'll bet some of you don't know about this...so, happy birthday) where you click the mouse wheel down onto the link, and it opens in a new tab without stealing focus (IE7). But, even that takes considerable time. Do you know of a way to open all the links without individually clicking them?
I want to do this from the page that shows all my answers (My PC can handle that many open tabs - all the 20 answers on one page). The problem I see there is that each question also has some other links to the category and asking user.
I'm stuck with clicking each one of the 20, aren't I?
