I have been off my BC for well over a month now (Diane 35) and dh and i are ttc. My last period was on Sept 8/12. According to my online ovulation calendar I should be ovulating today which is the 17th until the 22, making the 22 the actual day I ovulate. I know that you can get pregnant BEFORE you start ovulating.. on the 14th my husband and I had sex twice that day...We are still going to keep having sex this week but probably not until the 21-22 because we are trying for a boy! any thoughts out there as to what our chances of getting pregnant are? :) Thanks!

Alright, so this is my situation. Last Thursday (Aug 23) my husband and I had sex while on vacation. We were both kinda tipsy and we didn't use a condom and I hadn't been on my BC for about 3 weeks as we are ttc. He said he pulled out before he came (only because we didn't think being drunk and in vegas was the appropriate to ttc lol) but he doesn't know 100% as he was pretty intoxicated as was I. Like I know pre-*** can get you pregnant and that is what im wondering about. My period started Aug 9th-10th and according to my cycle which is 28 days, the day we had sex was the day I would of ovulated. Since then we have had sex again which was this past monday. I am not due to get my period for another week or so, but I have been experiencing frequent headaches, extreme fatigue, bloating and today i had some cramping in my lower abdomen. I want to mention as well I am just getting over a nasty cold but i have stopped taking any medication just incase i am pregnant. Today is a full week since we had sex in vegas, do you think it is still to early to take a HPT? I am really hoping to be pregnant but if not, we will try again in a couple weeks. Thanks!

we just rescued a 8 week old male siberian collie x .. was taken to the vet for his first vet check today.. everything was good.. my question is, if anyone has a siberian collie x, how big did yours get and how fast did it grow? hes pretty small right now, but hes the same size as my full grown 2 year old male chihuahua.. (fyi they are getting along great and are becoming friends so pls dont lecture on having those breeds together).. how hard are they to train? how many walks do you take them for a day? are they quite energetic dogs? and how long to they typically live for? (note: i dont have problem with any of these things, i just want to know what to expect in the future) thanks

ok so im in the middle of trying to save up for a down payment for a house. i am going to be taking out my vacation pay soon which will be around 1500.00 cdn. i also have a mastercard that i am trying to pay down to help improve my credit score. so my question is would i be better putting the 1500.00 into my down payment fund and just keep paying monthly on my credit card or should i put the 1500.00 onto my card which will pretty much pay my balance off then i will still have to keep putting money away for my down payment. i am looking to raise my credit score also. Only people who have knowledge in this general area may answer. thank you.

alright so i decided to dye my hair tonight using garnier 100% ... my hair originally was a dark brown with natural sun highlights, also there was no colour in my hair what-so-ever (hasn't been dyed in probably a year and a half). anyways it was suppose to come out a light golden brown... not the case.. to me it looks orange at my hairline... i hate it.. its still in the condition it was before i dyed it (still feels and looks healthy.. just orange in my eyes).. so my question is, is it safe for me to dye it again tonight.. i obviously would be going darker.. let me know asap!

so my credit card is at about 1,400.00 and i am trying to pay it down so i can improve my credit get a house as i spoke to a mortgage broker and he said if i got it down to around 1200.00 it would look better. My question is would it be a smart idea to go to the bank and try to take out a 1400.00 loan to pay it off in one lump sum and then just have the bank take the money out of my account every month and if i did that would that up my credit score? or would that be a bad idea and should i just stick to my monthly payments? only people with knowledge in this field need answer. *I am in Canada if that makes any difference*

so i just got a new car (2007 Pontiac G6 V6) in Sept. '09, I love it and its been great so far but I really want something with a little more 'pep' to it.. I have my eye on a 2009 Pontiac G8 which is $26,000 CDN. Now I got my car for $12,900 CDN. and total was a little over $17,000 CDN. total with financing and all that jazz. Keeping in mind I've had it since Sept. it's paid down to $12,800 CDN. would it be a smart choice to trade it in to get the car that I really want? My monthly payments are great.. 260.00 a month.. 132 bi-weekly.. its only got 54,000 km on it so its still a baby. I know obviously my monthly payments would go up and when i got the car my father co-signed for me because i hadn't been at my new job for a year yet.. so would i need another co-signer if i decided to get this car, even though ive already got a car which is still being financed?.. thanks so much!

So my fiance and I are looking at a house that is $244,000.00 CDN. I believe the house is vacant at the moment, it is in a very good area and these are some of the specs: Texas sized bungalow, very open plan, large living room & kitchen. 3 bedrooms up, unfinished bath off master. Basement has some development. Most windows replaced in 08. Plus furnace, ext doors & air conditioner, new eave troughs. & fascia, exterior paint, back yard regraded in 07, large double garage & back yard. What im wondering is, what is a good but lower offer to make on it. Remember its $244,000 Canadian and also vacant at the moment. Only realtors or someone with a realtor background may answer. ok, im not sure if this qualifies as an emergency or not but this is my dilemma. At the beginning of the month I hit the right side of my face pretty hard as a result of being drunk..(yes yes, I know, it was stupid) anyways the right side was swollen pretty bad.. the bruising was blacky purple then a greenish colour then finally went away. I also had a black eye which just recently went away about a week or so ago. Last Wed. I noticed a little bump on my cheek bone and didn't really think to much of it, just assuming it was still healing. Now, today around 10:30am I was at work and literally out of no where when I blinked it was like this sharp shooting pain around my eye (where I hit). At first I thought something was in my eye but nope. I thought the pain would subside but its 11:10pm and its still really bad. I can barely blink or even squint. Obviously im not squinting but its kind of hard not to blink. Can anyone with a MEDICAL background help me out? should I be going to the doctor? Possible nerve damage? Maybe draining? please help me out asap thanks

so my fiance and i both have stable jobs. i've been at my current job for 5 months now as a Certified Dental Assistant. I make decent money as does he, but we are wanting to get a house and just have more money overall. I have been looking for months now for a part time job. I have applied with hotels, clothing stores and other dental offices all for a part time job. I have only gotten one call back (which was for the clothing store) and didn't get the job. I can't figure out why no one wants to hire me. I graduated high school (when I was suppose to), I've taken a night course through the university (English 100), I went to a recognized post-secondary trade school where I took Dental Assisting and graduated and am now a Certified Dental Assistant. I'm a hard working individual who just wants to increase her income. Before I took dental assisting I worked at A&W as a supervisor.. I'm wondering how stupid that would look to my fellow co-workers and my family/friends if I went and worked at a&w.. (I dont work nights or weekends and am off work at 1 every friday). Give your honest answer and nothing rude please.

So i'll give you a little background info: I graduated post-secondary school in June, got my job in July and have been there for 5 months now. My boyfriend has been at his job for over a year. We both make pretty decent money. My credit is decent.. just got a new car in Sept. with help from my dad (co-signer), I do have a credit card which I pay every month (usually pay way more than my monthly fee.. ie. monthly fee is $35.00, i'll pay $100.00) Anyways we have been living in an apartment for quite some time now and we HATE it. Our new neighbours are loud (kid is constantly running around and banging on the walls, people take our laundry out of the washer and dryer and just throw it on the laundry room table, crap like that). We are really wanting to get a house but don't want to apply for a mortgage because by doing that will lower our credit scores so we don't want to apply for one until we know we will be approved. So my question is: When would be a good time to apply for a mortgage in Canada and to who? (bank or broker). Would be great if someone who ACTUALLY knows about this answers, not just some random person who thinks they know what they are talking about. Thanks.

ok my chihuahua was neutered today and ive been reading online that since they pump them full of iv fluids they will frequently need to go potty alot after.. we got him home at 4:30 this afternoon and he hasn't gone potty yet.. we live in an apartment on the top floor and he's pretty small so we have trained him to always go on pee-pads (note: he does know how to go pee outside.. we just wouldn't make it outside in time if we had to take him out everyday). anyways he keeps going to his pee pad but not going? anyone have any suggestions on why he might be doing this?

I have just graduated post-secondary school in June and am now a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). I am working full time as a CDA mon-fri 8-430 with the exeption of friday 8-1 which is when we close. I am looking to get a second job (part-time) and have applied at various places (tanning salons, a retail store, hotel front desk) but haven't gotten any calls back. I can't really understand why not? I have graduated high school(2005), taken a night course for english 100 and completed my Dental Assisting course. I have worked in retail, fast food, insurance company and now my current employer which is a dental office and cannot figure out what is holding me back??? Can anyone give me any suggestions where to apply (live in Sask. Canada) and possibly any suggestions on what could be holding me back? Im not old either, only 22 yr old female and very clean.

for the past week now my dog has had these little white dots in his stools. at first they were in hard stools and thought it was possibly something he ate? but for the past 2 days his stools have been soft, like almost liquid, kind of a light brownish/yellow colour with these little yellowish balls in it. im not sure if he has worms or not. he is on a special diet as he has liver shunt. his diet consists of rice, ground beef, hard boiled egg, white bread and calcium carbonate. he also takes one vitamin a day and 2 pills as he has had a seizure about a month ago.. first one ever & took to vet immediately where he was diganosed with having seizures & liver shunt.he has been seizure free since that day. he also has been dewormed when he was about 3 weeks old i believe and he is only 7 months old. Any suggestions out there? If it continues I will take him to the vet but am a new graduate and dont start my job until next week, have just paid rent and am kind of low on cash so just wanted any feedback on the issue. Thanks.
