I am aware of Machine Gunners course, but wasn't sure of any further courses that i can take that that arnt just say, armorer specific. Im fieldside mp, just wondering if any of you marines know anymore about this kinda stuff.

Its the most combat mos there is besides an 0311, while they are offense, we're the defense. I'm lonely as all hell here in oki, I don't know any females, and don't have that support system most have. A lot of the males have never even had a female before, and the rest don't like my presence very much.

I'm a marine, so of course my goal is to one up them in bs'ing and nasty talk...but i get really depressed. When **** happens i need a females advice on, or when i need to talk about something that i can't say in front of a male because it will lower my standing- i don't have nobody

I feel like i don't got my **** together, and i was hoping someone would have some advice on how to stay motivated and badass?

I'm going to be getting to Okinawa really soon here, but i wasn't told by my chain of command what to do when i got there, who to call nothing really... anyone know what to do??

Ok, so I'm a female whos in the delayed entry program right now, and i leave to boot camp in two and a half months. My problem is there are only 4 available jobs (Radio Operator, Aviation Mechanic, that Humvee driver thing, and Ground Option) and none of them are anything I'm excited about.

I have Aviation right now, but I was wondering if i where to say write the Marines recruiting command down in Quantico, VA a letter arguing for another mos? Would it work?

I can have any job i want in the Marines with my asvab scores apparently, and would prefer anything in intel, linguistics or military police.

Do you think i have a shot in hell to actually get this to work? And any suggestions?

I know males leave to boot every week, but i don't know how often females do. I've been told its only certain times, because there are fewer of them, but my recruiter doesn't off the top of his head know just how often that is.

My question is do females leave only at the beginning of every month, every other month, or what?

I got a 114 on my GT, but I dont have too many people to refrence to...

Like how many jobs didn't I score high enough for? And stuff like that...

Anything will help really. I'm enlisting with MP as my MOS and I was hoping for any additional information people might have on Military Police in the Corps, especially Feild MPs.

I'm pretty certain this girl is gay. She is a friend of one of my friends, not personally mine. She knows I'm going to boot camp, and has it in her mind that she's going to send me a box of pink thongs, with a note that says "Love _____". At first I thought she was joking, but I'm sure now she isn't. I'm getting worried, being that I'm female, and if I get a package like she is claiming shes going to give me, whats going to happen.

I don't want them to think I'm gay, and I don't want to get screwed for this if it does happen.

In the senario that she DOES send me this box, giving that she gets the adress somehow, what am I supposed to do??

Should I tell my recruiter now about this possibility or what??

I see a counselor with my parents so we can better communicate with each other, thats all. But I'm unsure if I want to bring this up to my recruiter. I don't think they'll disqualify me for it, but then again, I don't know what might happen if I tell him. I want to join the Marines more then anything else, and i just don't want to screw it up. Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks..^^
