TN Butterfly

I've been teaching for 17 years (13 here in Tennessee) and have recently applied for another position. After being fingerprinted, I received a call stating they need an explanation for a resisting arrest April 2001 that occurred in Texas. When I called the county, they had no indication. How can I get this cleared up?

Here’s the situation I’ve inherited. I’m dedicated and determined to turn this around.

We are a rural high school with both a long-standing record of losing and very limited funds. Most of our students haven’t held a baseball in the last 5 years or so (if ever), let alone played competitively. We did lose all of our games this season; however, they gain much progress toward being a team and understanding the game. They need to know the game and play competitively at the high school level. Our players are very athletic – place at state level in track, MVP of winning basketball team, etc. Any SERIOUS suggestions on how to coach this team to be winners both in sportsmanship and playing the game???

This year she began dragging her butt. Sometimes she pants (dry) heavily. Please, only serious replies.

I know I might call various Walmarts and ask them, but I was looking for a locator or a reference site that might provide this information.

What would it look like? Hi-Tech, Low-Tech? Desks? Tables? Etc. How would you structure and design a high school math classroom? This is NOT asking about curriculum, just the room and things.

I have almost no theatre background, so advice is wanted. I'm at the 7th & 8th grade level we have about 300 students. I'll probably have between 7 -25 members of this years drama students. We can do a production small skit for open house in September, one at end of first semester December (largest), and maybe one sometime in April.

He weighs 4.5 lbs and is very friendly and energetic. He slipped out the door without the leash and when my mom (I was out of town) went out after slipping into her shoes he was gone. Our closest neighbor was outside with friends, but he didn't "see him". It was a Saturday at about 4:30 A.M. PLEASE no silly responses, I just want ideas to help me locate him.

I know that the proper way to rid an American Flag is to burn it, but here I'd like to know about the smaller replicas that are staked along highways and the even smaller ones waved by millions of people. Thanks for your responses.
