I just bought a thermaltake 600w power supply. I'm trying to turn it on before I install it, to make sure it works. I'm plugging in the main cable that plugs in to the power supply to make it work, and there about a milimeter or two of space between the power supply and the edges of the cable, and I can't seem to push it in farther. My power supply won't turn on. Is this because the power supply doesn't work, or is it just really tough to plug all the way in for the first time?

4 months ago for my grandpa's funeral, i recorded a song, and that was really stressful. Plus, since it was so soon, i was not happy with the recording, which i got down on myself about. The funeral is on Wednesday, and I really don't want to have to sing anything. I feel really bad. I feel like I'm letting down my grandma, and my dad. Also, a good thing about my recording was that my grandma could listen to it, but now their both gone. I really don't want to do this, but i feel so horrible about saying that. What should I do? How can I feel better?

I bought GTA 5 from Steam. About an hour after starting, the download time jumped between about 4 hours and 15 minutes, and 3 hours and 45 minutes, which i figured was normal. An hour or so later it got all the way up to 110 days. Now its jumping in the 1 to 5 day area. What does this mean? Is there anyway i can stop/restart the download?

I'm using www.ibuypower.com to build my first gaming pc. There is this limited time offer for a bunch of keyboards, mousepads, headsets, etc that you can get for free.There is a message at the top that says this:

"Please select all desired free items. An additional $20 shipping charge will be applied if any free items are requested after your system is shipped."

The website looks legit, like there wouldn't be any scams on it or anything. Plus, it is a limited time offer

Do you think this means if i select all of the free items i want, i will just get the one fee? Or do you think i'll get a fee for every item i select?

I'm on a strict $700 budget, so this would be very helpful.

I play all types of games (open world, shooters, rpg, etc,). i mostly play open world but not a lot more than the others. I want to know what the best parts are to get. I want to have the best possible pc for the games i play that i can get, for a budget of not too much more than $600 for the whole build.

Also, im not too computer savvy yet (although i have the basics) so try to make your answers understandable to me as much as you can

I'm 14, I want to get a pc gaming set up. I'm willing to do my own research about what's good for pc gaming and everything, but I don't understand what they're talking about with all the parts. If you could give a simple description of the different parts of a computer (more specific to gaming if it makes a difference) or tell me where I can go to learn what they are and what they do, that would help a lot.

Again, as simple as possible would be appreciated. I have pretty much no experience working with computers.

So, we have terrible connection in our house, pretty much 24/7. My mom works on her computer a lot, usually either my brother or I are using Netflix or youtube etc... and we all have our phones connected to our wifi. Our wifi we were using was kind of old. A while ago we got a new router, but we also still have the old one. The newer one tends to load faster, but both of them just have a very weak connection. I don't know if we're using too much, or if it's something else but if you have any advice on how to fix this I would appreciate it. Also, both routers are in the same room, could that have something to do with it as well?

*ps. I'm not computer say really at all, so if you could do your best to make it easily understandable for me that would be nice.

I know it's usefull for some apps, but does it mean that they can track exactly where you are 24/7?

(p.s. I have an android not an iPhone if it matters)
