I'm making a bucket list of specific places which inspired classical composers, such as Mendelssohn's 'The Hebrides' (Fingals Cave) or Smetanas 'Vltava' after the river in Prague. 

There are dozens of compositions on elements of nature, i.e. the seasons, water, trees etc. but are there other compositions about places?

Is it 'saw-yay' or 'sigh-ah'? I can't find a website that has the pronunciation.

...the rear support beam will be smack in the middle of the kitchen window which the extension will be built under. Extending the pergola a little further beyond the deck and window isn't do-able because our AC unit is in the way.

Extending the porch the other direction will defeat the purpose of the extra sitting area as it will not face the sunset. Would it be feasable to have a football goal shaped support which would go under the window?

I am currently on a second deployment to the middle east and with my tax free salary I will earn between 50 and 60k. The only debt my husband and I have are the mortgage and his car. Last deploymentmet we used most of the money to pay off my car and put a good sized down payment on our first home to lower our monthly mortage payment. My husband has 0% apr on his SUV and we can continue to afford payments from his salary.

When I return home we plan to start a family. What do you recommend is the best way to use the money I will earn? We will certainly use CDs but should we put more into the mortage to reduce the overall intrest? Pay off his car right away?

What do you suggest?

I am a native English speaker who learned Spanish while living in Bolivia for a year and a half. I recently watched a movie that took place in Italy and thought it would be great to learn Italian as well. However, I'm wary that with a third language, especially one as close to Spanish as Italian, that I won't be able to grasp or remember distinctly between the two. What do you think?

All of the sites I've found only have the word written in farsi which doesn't help me out much
