OMG, my family is driving me crazy!?
Between my fiance, my 6 month old, my two kids and his two kids, they are all insistent that I never get any sleep! My fiance kept me up til 1. Then the baby woke up around 5. By the time I got him fed and back to bed, his oldest decided to wake the entire house up around 6. I have to work today at 5 until 3am. Which means I'll be in bed by 4 and start the whole friggin routine over again! AARG. How do I make these people realize that 2-4 hours of sleep a night is not enough? They wonder why I'm such a b@8ch lately? Really? Who in god's name wouldn't be? Any suggestions? (I've thought about selling the whole lot, fiance included, to some wandering gypsy encampment, but haven't been able to find one!)
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoThe nutritionist at WIC told me breastmilk doesn't have enough vitamin D in it?
I'm sorry, but if God wanted my baby to have more vitamin D, wouldn't breastmilk have more vitamin D? Am I being silly or does she sound like an idiot?
14 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoMy baby co sleeps and only breastfeeds at night?
He is six weeks old and I only actually plan on nursing him until he is 4-5 months old. I pump a lot during the day and bottle feed him that. Because of this I have a LOT of breastmilk already in the freezer so who knows when that will actually run out. I only plan on pumping as long as I'm nursing. My question is, is it going to be hard to make the transition from co-sleeping to putting him in his crib? I never had this problem with my older son because he was born with a cleft palate and couldn't nurse. He slept in his crib or bassinet from day one. I do enjoy co-sleeping, but wouldn't mind a little mommy and daddy time eventually, If you know what I mean (wink, wink) Any advice?
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoDo you suppose I'll ever feel the same again?
I found out yesterday that my fiance has some serious health problems. I didn't find this out because he told me. I found out because I saw the texts he sent his ex-wife. Correction, Wife. We have been together for 5 years and they have yet to get a divorce. I was in the process of getting divorced when we met and supposedly so was he. I have been divorced for 3 years and even though she has lived on the other side of the country since I met him, they have yet to file the paperwork! Anyway, I confronted him about the messages, and of course he lied and said he was just lying to her because they are in the middle of a custody battle, and he wanted to make her look stupid when she brought it up in court. I didn't necessarily believe this but took him at his word because we never lie to each other. Then because I was mad at him all day, he felt bad so he decided to get drunk. That is when he finally manned up and told me the truth. Why would he tell her about it and fail to even mention this to me? Stupid question, I know why! I have done everything in the world for this man and yet he still runs to her whenever something is wrong! I have no problem sticking by him through whatever health problems come along. I do have a problem however, staying with a man who will forever love someone else before me! We have a newborn baby together, and I still will only be second best! I don't know if this is something I can get past. My heart is broken and I don't know if I'll ever feel comfortable in this relationship again. Any advice? I just don't know where to go from here.
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoMy fiance still loves his ex-wife?
I just found some texts in his phone that he sent to her. He's telling her about some health problems that he is having. I didn't even know about these problems! I love this man with all of my heart but, c'mon! We have been together for almost 5 fkn yrs! We have a baby together. Technically, they aren't even divorced yet! He has been trying to divorce her for years but the lawyer can't find her to serve her the papers (yeah right!) Supposedly, this is because she lives in florida. I have invested years of my life with this man and for some reason, he can't seem to get over this woman! All she did was spend his money and cheat on him. What is the fascination? I have always been faithful and have seriously put up with a lot to be with this man. His oldest son, who is mentally challenged, accused me of touching him innappropriately, and I had to go to the police station and take a lie detector test! (I passed, obviously!) And now this? I don't know if I should just cut my losses? He means everything to me, but do I really wanna be second choice?
13 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHow much should my one month old be eating?
He was in the NICU for two weeks, and they had him on a restricted diet. He was only getting just shy of two ounces. Now that he has been home for 2 weeks he's still only eating two ounces, maybe two and a half sometimes. Is this normal or should he be eating more?

7 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoIs this a stupid reason to get mad at someone for?
At 4:30 our newborn woke up to be fed. I of course fed him and he fell back to sleep. I went downstairs to smoke a cigarette and get a soda. My fiance comes downstairs 5 mins later all pissed off! Why?
10 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoTwo weeks ago I gave birth to a baby with a heart defect...?
Luckily I only live 5 mins from the hospital so I am there 4-5 times a day. The problem is, I can barely get my fiance to go there once every other day, if that. I also found out when I was in the hospital, after giving birth, he was having emotional talks with his ex-wife about the whole ordeal. He won't hardly even talk to me about it! I feel so completely alone in this whole situation. I am actually thinking of leaving him over it. I don't really want to do that, but why do i have to feel all alone when he gets to turn to another woman for comfort? And what about the baby? He won't even hardly go to see him! Help, Advice desperately needed!
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoI gave birth on the tenth?
to a baby with a heart defect. I found out my fiance of 5 years (baby's father) has been having "emotional talks" with his ex-wife about it all. I don't know if I should be worried, or just chalk it up to needing to talk to someone? I am so messed up about everything going on. I don't want to overreact but I could use someone to talk to also, but he doesn't want to talk to me about it, he would rather talk to someone else. Is this just a normal emotional response or what? I feel very alone throughout this whole ordeal.

Every now and then there are questions on this site about men disciplining their wives. Are they usually asked by muslim men? Just curious.
