what happens if a person hits my dog with their car?
my dog got loose for the first time (we do have a leash law) & a car hit/ran him over. other people stopped & got the license plate number. the police had the person return to the scene of the accident. my dog suffered from a broken femur/hip. is the car responsible?? thanks for any input.
